Where did this picture of a Crimson Head originate?

So I see him all over Google Images. Where the hell did he come from? It looks like some sort of conceptual art, but... Guh. Any ideas.

I'm not exactly sure, but I vaguely recall seeing something similar to do with Yamasa's Biohazard Pachi-Slot/Pachinko as the characters, Tyrant have a similar sort of sized renders for artwork and/or promotional artwork either on the website/DVD promos or some flyer/poster things in relation to it...

Just the sizing and how it's been visually rendered certainly looks like it goes with Pachi-Slot.

But Pachislot has been around for about a year+, I last googled Crimson Heads about 4 months ago, and it wasn't there. I wonder why they suddenly released them...

Not a problem.

Probably as most of the stuff dealing with Pachislot hasn't been floating around that long aside from a couple of small promo pieces such as the DVD that had extra footage, higher quality trailer and a couple of flyers whereas I was going through eBay the other day and saw some things such as the "Pachislot Biohazard Rescue Kit" which was a small blue general first aid kit with the S.T.A.R.S. logo and some other related junk starting to surface much more lately.

It's just a shame that nobody has been able to talk to a Pachinko parlour owner into letting them capture from the machine and/or a machine to come up for sale as we'd probably get more information with it considering there are differences from the game to REmake.

We first uploaded it to Project Umbrella a while ago, since then its been appearing everywhere.

From what I can remember, it was initially ripped from the Biohazard Pachislot website.

It is, but not exactly from REmake.

The more common one to be shown as a Crimson Head is this one but if you compare the REmake character renders to the Pachislot ones - the Pachislot ones have much shinier textures and they all seem to have more action-y poses for the characters and the enemies to be in a mid-attack sort of pose.

For example, the REmake wallpaper of Wesker then compared to the Pachislot Wesker render to show what I mean.

Essentially, it is REmake but there's a few things different between REmake and Pachislot (such as well, how it was put in the Run Forest, Run! parody is "Ugh, god! Forest is such a moron! And you know what the really sad part about that is? Evidently the fact that 95% of his brain has shut down, hasn't interfered with his thinking!") such as Forest asking to be killed and saying thank you whilst dying finally from a rocket launcher and other stuff.

Not released, but it does have relation to the time it was released as an IMAGE file. A photo of that nature gets around quickly, so in a sense, yes, it does. I know the picture may have been uploaded ten years ago and just updated on Google Images. But Google Images bases it's pictures based on how much traffic that photo gets. More views= Further up on the list.

The lab scientists officially labeled him the "V-ACT". No idea where the hell the name comes from, but I always liked it. Regardless, I am happy that it finally came up. I get to use it in a banner. (This is not for promotional purposes, just tell how it looks. I like it better than the original as it removes that dumb look he gives.)



Note his mouth is not hanging open like a moron-CH and he looks a bit more angry.

Edit: Also, note the background is a lab room from REmake. I was thinking, do you think that was the room that the CHE was stored in? I mean it is told that the CHE had claimed the lives of 3 scientists, hense the blood all over the mattress.

It is called "Crimson Head Prototype 1", and is the first subject to harbour the t-virus mutation which exhibits the V-ACT process. Nothing more, nothing less.

The original Crimson Head gave the researchers an opportunity to notice the process called "V-ACT", and the existence of the virus that came with it. Prototype 1 was created using that particular t-virus type, the effects of which created this Crimson Head possessing vitality and combat skills far exceeding those of regular ones and after that, it underwent cultivated production. An analysis is considered impossible as it is so aggressive it instantly slaughters all surrounding people. But it is still a valuable sample, so it was sealed to examine and research it someday.

An image FILE could exist on the internet for any ammount of time, just because it doesn't appear within the search terms you're providing doesn't mean it isn't out there. There's nothing to stop the file from being hosted anywhere on the internet, but under a different filename that google wouldn't pick up.

I didnt say I agreed with it being George Trevor, just said alot of people seem to think is. Also Crimson elder is a nickname for him and it happens to be my username. Thanks for the information though.
