While re-doing the article for The Organization and making edits to Wesker's, something struck me. After going over all possible notes, I've come to the conclusion that Wesker never joined The Organization. He probably planned to (assuming The Organization is the rival company which is mentioned in Wesker's Report) but due to the loss of the Tyrant, he never managed to. Lets go over everything.
1) Wesker mentions that his plans were completely destroyed. Why would he be so annoyed at Chris if he got into The Organization anyway? Damaged reputation or not.
2) Wesker's status in Death's Door giving orders to Ada and being in an apparently high-up position defies the entire premise of the "failed plan - need revenge" plot point. He seems totally fine with it there. In the same vain, Wesker seems overly concerned about The Organization's well-being in this scene. Why would he if he's a backstabbing scumbag?
3) In CVX, he mentions to Chris that he sold his soul to a new organization and that he was hired to capture Alexia and t-Veronica. This much is true, however, the mysterious Special Forces team he attacks Rockfort Island with (H.C.F.) is his own creation. So he isn't directly working with The Organization, lest they surely send him along with a team of their own. Wesker's men all being "his" also adds to this. As for being hired, its very possible that he actually was, whether it be by The Organization or another company. RE5 hints at there being more than one rival company to Umbrella. Plus, Wesker was interested in t-Veronica for his own usage.
4) Not a single source actually refers to Wesker joining any organization or states it outright. DSC mentions that he went to work for one of Umbrella's rival companies. Incidentally this falls into place with the fact that he was hired by an unnamed company to retrieve t-Veronica. We can be fairly certain that this is not The Organization.
5) Wesker explicitly sells Ada out to Javier after finding out it is her that is posing as an Umbrella dealer. Why would he do that if she was in the same business? Then "invite" her to take part in an important mission 2-3 years later?
6) The Organization seems to be completely benevolent. Their reasoning behind the retrieval of Las Plagas is to study it, for example. Archives II's profile for Ada also has a statement by Ada herself, stating "I'm not as bad as him (Wesker)". Would they actually develop the Hunter II, Sweeper and Jabberwock S3?
Conclusions:
1) Wesker established his own secret organization, "The 3rd Organization", immediately following the mansion incident. His first move was to retrieve the G-virus-- his backup plan which would restore his pride, reputation and give him a major bargaining chip.
2) H.C.F. is the Special Forces of "The 3rd Organization".
3) Although Wesker did not join The Organization, he was hired by one of Umbrella's rival companies for a short time.
I have surely missed something here, so discuss.
