dark biohazard 2010/2011 thread

It's a continuation from his previous projects anyway... At first I was really excited about the whole modding idea, but it really lead nowhere.

Now it's even more ambitious, but it has a duke nukem forever feeling. I really hope it will be more than just a vaporware.

I have my Youtube set to "remain signed in" and I'm on there pretty much everyday but it says I haven't been on since like 6 months ago. That only means the last time they physically signed in, so don't despair.

Jow Hill, a musician in Spain, was involved in the project Dark Biohazard and even created some music for it, which is available at the DB website. I messaged Jow Hill to ask if she is still involved in the project and/or still creating music for it and thus if she knew if it was still in production. I did not receive a reply. Interestingly, my suggestion that Dominion call his mod Biohazard 2 was taken to heart at one point earlier in his project incarnations, the version before Dark Biohazard was actually called Biohazard 2: Last Human Front. The only other person I could think to contact who might know about the status of Dominion's project is ronin akikage, aka. imacwesker, aka. Jerome Chagnon who is apparently good friends with Dominion. Other than that, I have exhausted all resources. I have emailed contact@darkbiohazard.com numerous times and not received any reply for an update. Interestingly, even though the site says Dark Biohazard is copyright of Dominion, I have checked the copyright and trademark office of the US and there is no such copyright, I then checked the copyright and trademark office of Spain and likewise there is no such record, I then double checked it against the copyright office of Catalonia and again no such record. If the copyright claim is valid I would assume it would be under Spain's dominion (no pun intended) or the US domain, since español is his original language I think. Dominion has talked about mastering other engines, perhaps he has moved his project to the Silent Hill 1 engine or the Resident Evil 4 engine? One can hope.

Dominion can't legally copyright Dark Biohazard... That should be something easily figured out. I mean, it's an unofficial mod using the engine and many assets of the original BH2 and other BH games and requires a copy of the game to play. Of course you're not gonna find any real copyright for it. It's just one of those unofficial "copyrights" that people slap onto these kinds of things.

Also, unless you misworded it, I am pretty sure ronin akage and imacwesker are not the same person.

Not sure how you conclude that your suggestion was "taken to heart" since Last Human Front was long before you came along.

I didn't say he took the suggestion from me. And I know Biohazard II: Last Human Front was "long before" I came along, I don't need nor want the reminder. I only pointed out that he, Dominion, thought of it before I ever brought it up and indeed used the idea of titling it Biohazard 2. But meh. Maybe imacwesker knows something, maybe not.

She's a cool gal, I made a remix of her original theme with various effects and narration from the games to capture the story(or at least what we know of it) of Dark Biohazard. DM was going to see if Dominion would be interested in possibly using it in a promo or something, but he was already gone by that point and he hasn't resurfaced since. At least I've had plenty of time to make a more improved version lol.

Wow... Kinda feels wierd to show up to a forum and actually have people speaking of me... LOL!

Let me clear some stuff up. First, I'm not anyone else on any forum. I have always been "ronin akikage", "ronin" or "akikage". I have the same name on Bioflames.

Second, I have Wesker's Youtube account linked as a sort of advertisement, I guess. So that anyone that viewed my profile would perhaps visit the youtube section and watch the videos.

Still wierd to see people using my name as discussion (even briefly)...

@ronin akikage, I'm sorry for the confusion/misunderstanding. Hope you don't interpret this as a personal attack, insult or even negative attention toward you. You wouldn't happen to have any info on DB's status would you? (I jest)
