Maybe it's because of the low sales of Darkside? No profit, no release I guess... Maybe a bundle of both chronicles upgraded to HD would work.

Well, didn't Dead Space Extraction sell poorly on thw Wii? Now I'm not sure on if it did or not, but I think the PS3 would have the larger audience for those games to succeed.

No promotion = no profit.
Wii is absolutely bs platform for the games. Dev hardware is far more expensive than ps3 or xbox 360,prerelease and release promotion quality for umbrella chronicles and darkside chronicles was very low (i compare with resident evil 5 promotion).
xbox360/ps3 marketplace is far better than wii marketplace(IMHO buying something from wii marketplace is real wasting of money,ecspecially if you buy old classic videogames which are downloadable).
DC and UC got no multiplayer modes(or extreme battle/mercenaries).
And "unique" camera behavior&railway gameplay is nothing against standart gameplay on re 1 2 3 4 5 when you choose where to go.
If you do your work bad you have no profit.

The statues sound good but like most RE figures probably expensive as hell

They will become really expensive 3-4 years later.

The ideas of trophies on Remake though would be amazing

Thats just stupid.Achievement Trophies are a waste.never liked them and should not be included with classics like remake.The only achievement you need to know is how long you played and your rank at the end of the game.thats all.

If you got a trophy for a certain rank what difference does it make? Was the game somehow ruined because at the ranking screen a trophy popped up?

Yes.IMHO All of these useless trophies/achievments/gamerscores are to feed game geeks.Its not an idea of game producer to make a rat run like in WoW.

Adding trophies to games aren't bad it gives extra incentive to come back to a game and kind of like their own separate missions no one says you HAVE to go for them

Think about it this way the rank system will always be the same the trophy would sort of be a record for when you got the ranking for the first time nothing more nothing less

This will help you to unlock this sort of record avoiding the gameplay.
Just copy your profile to usb stick and use a program to open stick&copy gamer profile to PC hdd(for xbox 360 guys) and open with modding program.

Think about how much useless would be "new achievement feature" and achievements at all with this program set.
Achievments doesn't affect on gameplay - thats the problem,they are just noisy "You won a game you earned a medal".Many stupid achievments in the game because xbox 360 devs must met "1000 gs standart".I
Its so hard to wait these hours -each 1 hour is like day((.

I'm still not seeing the "epic doom" trophies are on games the message displays on the top right of your screen for a second if you find it such a nuisance are you really paying attention to the game you're playing? Because when I'm into a game I hardly notice or it appears during loading screens which is nice cus there's nothing to do while the game loads
