Things have changed since then and now almost all fan-based requests and whatnot go through Capcom-Unity, which is laughable at its best.

Capcom-Unity is naturally the place where all the not-so-clever ones will send their developer-related requests nowadays. But that doesn't mean that it's the only means of getting in contact with the company. I think I remember before there was the Internet, there were these plastic things you'd talk into and if you were like really nice and convincing, you'd get what you wanted.

Even if they did, it would probably have been centered around RE5, basically being more of a marketing gig than a genuine interview (which most conversations with developers pre-release are these days).

THIA, PU and Biohaze being some of the biggest fansites, I just don't believe it would be too hard to arrange for something like that.

Also, the ages in Biohazard 5 (that's one game) are mistaken. Your 'source' is incorrect. All you do is vouch for it despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary because you don't like it and wistfully ignoring every single correction and source handed to you. And from your post history, you have a history of crying when you get an answer you don't like.

It wouldn't be difficult to simply judge a characters age by yourself based on the year they were born (like we do on Project Umbrella, because really, their ages mean precisely dick and the Biohazard universe is not focused on a single year), but you're too up yourself to do that. You want to rewrite things completely when there's something you disagree with. You can't accept simple facts handed to you, but you'll bitch and moan once you get them and then demand another or make one up yourself.

There's a difference between getting upset over something fictional and getting pissed when someone moans continuously (derailing a topic completely) and decides that everything they don't agree with is wrong and their speculation is superior to repeated fact. There's contesting something with evidence and then there's just being a nuisance over a completely moot point with asinine arguments and a weird obsession over something that really doesn't matter to begin with.

People getting way overboard on these kind of details on a game is beyond me. If anyone really thinks that a mistake somehow holds more value than genuine sources then there's really no point. There are those of us who go through all this stuff to get credible sources, facts and conclusions. When someone decides that all of them don't matter for the sake of their speculation, they're "making good points and with reason"? They're being asinine and ignorant, that's all. He made his point, and then it was debunked several times. Everything else is just ego-stroking.

If people want to ignore the supplemental materials then by all means ignore them, just don't come on here and label them as mere 'promotional nonsense' when as its already been stated some people work pretty hard trying to get answers to questions people have wanted to know for a long time from hard to come by sources.

How would you feel for example if you've worked bloody hard to translate a significant portion of Archives 2 to present to the community only for people to dismiss it without even reading it because 'Jill's age is wrong'?

Temp wasn't always a prick. Sure, we didn't end on the best of terms (him publicly calling me an elephant on reH and such), but I remember us having some good chats. Telling me about things. He was an English chap with an oriental girlfriend and I remember him once giving me relationship advice. There was always this big mystery around his name, I'm sure it was 'Simon' or something. Shame it ended with him likening me to a large mammal.

He left reH because of what it had become (a very poor site where anyone could post anything and it'd be front page news, no punishment system, no decent content). He made a long departure post, might still be on there. Some people think he posts on Gaf under a different name now.

Last i "crossed paths" he was having a pop at me on N4G for a grudge against popupHorror for being banned...that despite having not posted on the site for about six months before being banned haha
