    Looking at this map makes me sad...
    So the only hidden rooms are the keeper's room, the hallway leading to it and the mutated plant room?

    I was hoping for more, but I guess there's nothing we can do about this...

    I suppose the earlier build has the same amount, perhaps even fewer rooms.
    Anyways, I'll try to unlock the doors in the 08/04 build to see what lies beyond as we don't have any map in that build!

    Edit:
    Here are the codes for the 08/04 build:

    LEAVE YOUR LEGS BEHIND
    300E13E1 0001

    PLAYER SHADOW FLICKERS
    300C722F 0000

    TURN JILL AROUND
    300C7495 00??

    00 = 90° Right
    03 = Default
    06 = 90° Left
    09 = 180° (Backwards)

    JILL ANIMATION MODIFIER
    300C74DD 00??

    00 = Idle
    01 = Taking Damage
    02 = Backing Up
    03 = Walking Backwards
    04 = Dieing
    05 = Frozen
    ...

    PLAYER ANIMATION MODIFIER
    300C7215 00??

    00 = Idle
    01 = Thinking
    02 = Walking
    03 = Running
    04 = Kneeing
    05 = Backing Up
    06 = Shocked
    07 = Rapid Fire Handgun
    08 = Rapid Fire Shotgun
    09 = Frozen (Thinking)
    0A = Frozen (Backing Up)
    ...

    GAMEPLAY SPEED MODIFIER
    300C600C 00??

    00 = Faster
    01 = Fast
    02 = Default
    03 = Slow
    04 = Slower
    05 = Even Slower
    ...

    The higher the number the slower the gameplay.

    WEAPON MODIFIER
    300C715A 00??

    00 = Nothing
    01 = Knife
    02 = Handgun
    03 = Shotgun
    04 = Colt Python

    UNLOCK ALL DOORS
    300C7024 0000

    The code works just fine but it's completely useless.
    Not even the three hidden rooms from the 10/04 build are included in this one.
    The "room" (not really a room, it's outside, actually) with the boiler where the dogs jump over the fence in the final game is missing as well.
    The mirror room (the room before the costume chamber) does not load and freezes the game even tough the .RDT for it is included on the disc...

    The best way to increase fun with these samples is to find a way to unlock some debug menus, I guess.
    I doubt it, but there's also a slight chance that we can access the 2nd floor main hall by Walk Through Wall'ing through Jill which is blocking the stairs.

    Edit2:
    I've managed to remove Jill from the main hall:

    I was hoping that it might make the stairs accessible but I was wrong...
    I can still "talk" to her even tough she clearly is no longer in the room and I am still blocked from walking up the stairs...

      EDIT: You where supposed to pick the pick axe in east wing save room, you can see it on the floor in trial edition, pc demo and retail versions and possibly the lighter oil next to it also athough I can't make out if it it's the same oil can, irc you use the lighter to reveal the map above the fireplace and again in the 1st floor dining room to light up the darken room.

        Interesting stuff. Possible to grab some screens of those hidden items? Golden handgun is like the one from CV?

            what I'm wondering is where the shotgun's avatar image is stored. Sadly I made the shotgun room give other items but it always displays the shotgun avatar.

            Also the Save State does not seem to dump the graphics memory (in Epsxe) like with most other games, so can't get the avatar images that way.

            Maybe the shotgun graphic is programmed into the executables and is the only avatar since changing the shotgun to the knife or pistol and picking it up just makes the new item have the shotgun avatar.

                  Thanks a lot!
                  Now I am really sorry for asking, but could translate the text for ID 05 (which I labeled as the Grenade Launcher because of the projectile it fires) as well?
                  It makes no sense to have two Grenade Launchers in the game and no Rocket Launcher, so I'd like to have clarification on what ID's 05 and 07 really are.

                  The weapon model for ID 05 did not show up correctly when I was writing the item list. (It was an untextured Shotgun)
                  The Grenade Launcher is a Jill exclusive if I am not mistaken, so that was most likely caused by me playing as Chris and equipping a Jill only weapon...

                  @Enrico Marini:
                  Do latter builds of the game load the correct item icon if you replace items by editing the RDT of a room? (Never tried doing so myself)
                  Is there any chance that the menu graphics associated with an item have to be changed somewhere else in the RDT file?

                  It would be great to get the items with the correct menu graphics ingame, so I am really interested in this subject...
                  I might be able to change the item graphic directly in the V-RAM while the game is running, but that wouldn't be the same.

                    Now we know for sure that the glitch items were the 2nd jewel and Grenade Launcher!

                    Are you sure it means Grenade Launcher and NOT Rocket Launcher?
                    I am asking because there already is a (working) Grenade Launcher (ID 05) and judging from the weapon order in the latter builds of Biohazard ID 07 should be the Rocket Launcher...
                    It can be the Rocket Launcher, because I've used the 05 items and the smoke it's from the Jill's Bazooka, but グレネード means Grenade, and of course ランチャー is Launcher, I've tried to translate the mansion keys but I can't draw complex kanjis very well lol.

                    ここは、わたしがみはっておくわ

                    I'm using my tablet and google translate btw. The problem is that this sentence doesn't make sense, I think I've draw them correclty, but if I change っ with つ, she says:

                    Here, I'll keep the repellent out

                      It's part of the STATUS.TIM or CAPCOM.PTC I think, IVM files contain the 3d item textures for the inventory irc. The RDT's contain the textures for the items displayed in rooms.
                      You can pickup the Colt Python in the globe room desk outside the changing room also.
                      There's a wierd zombie glitch in the globe room it's as if the zombie opens the door and follows you in, you can also hear the zombie in the mirror room before entering it.

                        I've tried translating it to German and French out of curiosity (sometimes the output is quite different from the English one with Google Translator).

                        There we have the result:
                        "I am guarding/holding the Mihatsu here/over there" (I switched the translated words around a little to turn it into an actual English sentence)

                        Any ideas what "Mihatsu" could stand for?

                        Edit:
                        Judging from the context I am most certain that Mihatsu must be the stairs, don't you agree?

                        "I am guarding the stairs" would make perfect sense...

                          Yes, was that Mihatsu thing that doesn't make sense. The problem with the 05 item (with Chris) is that it doesn't have a name

                          I'm translating the other items, 07 is very very strange
                          07 グレネードランチャー Grenade Launcher

                          If you check this item it shows the Bazooka, but if you equip it it's the knife and Chris in combat mode (R1) act automatically with various animations and sometimes the game freezes.

                            I've experienced similar things in Resident Evil 2 when I tried to equip different weapons as Hunk...

                            I guess the glitched knife thingy happens because either the character (Chris) is not supposed to use that weapon, or because the weapon itself is messed up/unfinished and does not work with any character.
                            I suppose 07 to be the Rocket Launcher in an unfinished, nonfunctional state and 05 should be Jill's Grenade Launcher/Bazooka.

                            @All:
                            Does anybody know if Rebecca is already on the disc?
                            I'm asking, because I am trying to hack a character modifier atm.

                            Edit:
                            I found the AI behavior for Jill (the one in the main hall) in the 08/04 build:

                            TURN JILL 90 DEGREES LEFT
                            300C7495 0006

                            TURN JILL 90 DEGREES RIGHT
                            300C7495 0000

                            JILL ANIMATION MODIFIER
                            300C74DD 00??

                            00 = Idle

                              In Beta 08/4 Jill it's like an enemy, if Chris walk backward the animation is the same as a enemy is near.

                              Item 05 and 07 with Jill (10/4) makes the game crash, and 06, well...

                              It works in full auto, with Chris you have to push the square many times to get a decent flow

                                That's cool!
                                I've tested the weapons with Chris only and was disappointed by the Flamethrower. Good to know that it works better with Jill!

                                It's strange that the Flamethrower works for Jill and the Bazooka for Chris, but not vice versa. Perhaps Jill was the one to get the Flamethrower and Chris the one with the Bazooka in early Biohazard builds?

                                And you're right, Jill is treated like some kind of passive enemy in the 08 build!
                                Makes me wonder if I could get her to act like a zombie...
