Do you know this flag enables and disables access to the debug menu? I'm guessing you do since you're already talking about locating it in memory, but thought I'd post it up incase you didn't... Edit: Actually it also disables the Inventory as well, perhaps it disables both buttons? Weird...

Oh just some awesome guy who thought Inflames from Bioflames had the 1.5 beta and would do all kinds of creepy things to prove it before Kim finally got tired of it and banned him. Alzaire could probably fill us in on the details, I don't remember too much from those days.
Carn gave Kevstah 3 days ban, whether or not it goes to permanent is up to him when he comes back. I don't care if people talk shit like he did, but with no evidence to back it up + personal insults to staff is just not acceptable.Last edited by Dot50Cal; 04-08-2011, 11:07 PM.

That's some crazy stuff... guess some fans just want it so bad... meh whatever. Arguments such as some people have made in this thread are null as hell. I think I'll gravitate back to this beta ;)
Anyways guys I'll be uploading some HD 1080P playthroughs of this build (True HD and not upscaled)

That wasn't really a terribly big deal, as a lot of people thought Inflames was hoarding a copy. It's when he totally flipped his lid with conspiracy theories that Inflames finally decided to ban him. There were quite a few. Everything ranging from Inflames secretly being a Capcom employee, to my personal favorite that literally half the members of the entire Bioflames forum were all Inflames (including me) and he was fabricating discussions and pretty much talking to himself and orchestrating the entire community while owning a copy of 1.5 and laughing at all of us and looking for attention.Last edited by Zombie_X; 04-09-2011, 12:57 AM.

Actually I can understand if people go crazy about 1.5!
Who wouldn't?
I'll admit, I was one of those people who were dreaming (while sleeping, not just wishful thinking) about finding a copy of it in some trashcan during the PSM days...
But then I woke up and realized that my brain was playing terrible jokes on me.
You've got to know when to stop before you start taking things too far tough...
Anyways, back on track!
@geluda:
This flag is the one we called STATUS FLAG (16)! It allows/blocks access to all menus as far as I know.
It's nothing we haven't found yet but thanks for showing a picture of it in the flag view menu!
Makes it easier for me to find it again!
I have given up on the V-Jump build debug menu for the moment. (I'll come back to it eventually, just not now)
I'll try porting my event modifiers to other Biohazard builds instead, that should produce some very interesting results if I can get it done!
Imagine fighting the Tyrant in the Main Hall, wouldn't that be awesome?
I'll make it possible for you guys!
Give me some time, I'll post back when it's done!Last edited by Upaluppa; 04-09-2011, 09:10 AM.

Kevstah's argument is Swiss cheese. It would be nigh on impossible to fake such an early alpha build; broken audio, incorrect tags, etc, it's all fucked up because it's an alpha. Since when were we even supposed to be playing this, let alone hacking it?
Alpha materials don't have to be 'clean'; what would be the point, since it's being built on top of all the time?
And even if Dot and co. did happen to tamper with the internal files for whatever reason, hey, at least we've got functioning alpha builds to experience. Best to thank them, not throw conspiracy theories.

It doesn't even use a window frame such as the BH2 debug menu, just darkens the screen a bit!
And the text for the menu is stored in the RAM of the V-Jump build, I have checked myself.
The only thing we need to access it is to find a flag that enables it in the memory or find a different way to trigger it somehow.
I am quite confident that we wouldn't see all the debug menu text in the RAM had Capcom taken the time to properly remove it.
It's nothing unusual in pre-release game demos that the developer exclusive stuff is not removed and only the access to it disabled.
Knowing Capcom's laziness I am sure that they did not bother to remove the debug menu from that build!
And all the other builds, perhaps excluding final ones should have the debug features at least partially included, even if the actual debug menu is not there, as you have assumed yourself!
A bunch of examples I hacked myself:
(Dark Biohazard/MartinBiohazard told me about this one! Thanks, you are awesome!)
The debug menu itself is not in the BH2 Trial Edition but some of the features you could access from the debug menu are still included!
