I will never understand people with a bit of money who can't seem to do simple things that would improve their physical appearance. Anderson should seriously invest in a $5 coffee-drinker's toothpaste or some whitening strips. If I were in the face of the public, I wouldn't want people pointing out things that are easily fixed. Bahness.
I'm not too interested in seeing Barry, but since we seem to be in some sort of alternate Resident Evil world with this game, introducing a few dead S.T.A.R.S. members might be interesting. Will it happen? I sincerely doubt it.sigpic

That was sort of my point. Some of these other characters don't seem to have the grandest of roles, so why not have some of the lesser known S.T.A.R.S. members added? I just get bored every time something like this comes out, it is generally the same handful of characters...Chris...Jill...Leon...Claire...Et cetera. Throw Richard in there...Or Kevin...Or Kenneth...Just something different would be appreciated.
Though, I guess I can't complain too much since Nicholai is not one of the standard characters.sigpic

I think it's safe to assume that every character announced for Heroes Mode will be in the main campaign, but truthfully it's not confirmed to my knowledge. I shouldn't expect everyone we met in RE2 and RE3 to come across the Wolf Pack, but the point of the game is to mangle in RE affairs through the eyes of the bad guys.
I don't think Heroes Mode will amount to much since the implication is that it's only just a bonus for the game, but it does make me believe that something like it would fare better in a separate game of its own.
Not just using characters from the games, but customizing your own Raccoon City character and exploring all the classic locations and monsters from Raccoon City.Last edited by Smiley; 12-19-2011, 02:46 PM.

The Triple Impact trailer makes me both cringe and say "fuck yeah awesome". I liked it because I like over the top action stuff and this conflict between two armed forces having to worry with monsters attacking them is a good concept, BUT the woman killing that Licker with a knife like that even though she never saw one before was fucking stupid.

I suppose the question is always this; is a game going to take more from it's title than it gives? In this case, without that Resident Evil in the title, Operation Badger Village wouldn't be anything like as interesting. You could have most of the same elements - changeable storyline. three way battles, monsters etc - and without that extra special Resident Evil it wouldn't be on many folks radar.
It gives back to the series random retcons and run and gun shooting. Eh.

I suppose when Claire and Leon turn up they don't try anything stupid and just shoot everything they, as opposed to fight it with a knife or something. That was very much in the hands of the player (and I know I never attempted my first licker until I'd had a shotgun or grenade launcher).http://www.projectumbrella.net The BIOHAZARD/RESIDENT EVIL Compendium

I think a trained military woman is more believable than Alice in any way, shape or form or Claire tossing a knife in Darkside Chronicles. How about Outbreak characters using shotguns and grenade launchers without any sort of gun training before?
Yes, the trailer is over the top and that's what makes it awesome. Not to mention it makes more sense than many other scenes in past RE games. The group is taking samples ... it's kind of obvious that they know what they're doing. Compare them to the cops in RE2/3 to see what I mean.
