Things like that piss me off. Not to the point of boycotting the game, but they do irk me. I can understand the changes here and there, like the inclusion of the Wolf Pack. Slant Six wants to do their own thing. Fine by me. But is is it really that hard to get the details and dates correct?! What would it take? 5 minutes of time going to Project Umbrella? It's little mistakes like this that make the canon of RE so difficult! Just think of all the arguments never had if CAPCOM got their shit together.

The problem is, that could just be there PR department. 'Look guys, we totally talked to Capcom and they were all nit picky but we're still going ahead so we must be good.' I'd much happier if I heard someone from Capcom say it...even if it's that guy that usually get's things wrong.

"Capcom says it's canon, so it's canon." Is your opinion, hell Capcom themselves have stated that it is either partially or not canon at all. It is Slant 6 whom have been preaching about it being canon, not Capcom. Even if they've said that they've consulted with Capcom, I sincerely doubt they did with a credible member whom knows about Biohazard. The things like the date changes, the contradictory info, and the fact that they are using "Ginovief" instead of "Zinoviev" (Nicholai's true last name, which was translated bad in 3's USA release.) shows that they did not read the correct research.

All your doing now is resulting to groin shots and using aggressive language to try and establish your "point". The majority of people here do not and will not agree with you, so why not go somewhere else? I'm sure Capcom Unity would love to be graced by your strong presence.

True, but still, even such a little issue is one that detracts from the sense of polish that the series should have. Heck, that isn't the only issue either. There is that one where HUNK teams up with the Wolfpack, which is bull. HUNK went in with Alpha and Beta, not Delta or Charlie.

More credible than "Hey guyz I'm a fanboy, I say what is canon and not". Besides Mike Jones is a Capcom Producer according to the article, so it wasn't actually Slant 6 saying it was canon, but Capcom.
