I like that all these classic characters are in the game (although a few are a bit butchered), but I've been skeptical of this whole "versus mode" shit since RE5 had it. It's just so... un-Resident Evil.

I actually really enjoyed RE5's versus.

If this is like Versus mode then it'll already be better as an action segment since you can move and shoot freely now. RE5's was terrible because you had to remain stationed each time you aimed your weapon. Fine for a normal RE game designed around it. Not so much for an action add on where you have to shoot and melee other players.

Wrong. It's "Grim Reaper", which can also be translated as "God of Death", but the latter sounds lame, so Grim Reaper HUNK it is.

"The death cannot die" and "Mr. Death" are still some of the most fuck embarrassing mistranslations in the series.

If CAPCOM ever had a single decent localization team working on the series, he would have been nicknamed "Grim Reaper" from the beginning, since that is what the God of Death is commonly referred to in English.

I think it just goes to show that Slant Six is not exactly the go-to developer for writing and consistency.

Good point. Though until Operation Raccoon City, the series is quite consistent.

I always assumed that Nighthawk was the codename for the helicopter, as a unit rather than an actual person. Like when you hear 'Overlord' in a lot of first-person shooters, they're not referring to the actual man talking but rather it being another word for 'command centre' or something.
