After FRD's Battlefront 3 was cancelled, rumour had it that Slant Six Games was working on it. And they were right, the guys at www.betagames.org found some files on the Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City which look just a bit like they something from the Star Wars universe: Don't...

Tha's a bit crazy but a nice easter egg to see. I feel sorry for those who bought this game (I only borrowed it from a friend in the end and will wait for a justified price) since there's no way this game should have been released in its form with the quality it is; it needed some more cooking time.

        • I think it needed 3 months bare minimum to polish off what they had in beta testing.

          • All the issues I had from my playthrough last September have remained in the current build, so what they hell have the been doing for 6 months? It certainly wasn't quality control.

            • I haven't been able to find a copy in any retail store, not sold out just not even stocking it so it musta been a slow week when it hit #2 in that earlier quoted chart. I guess not everyone had bought Mass Effect 3 . . . I bought MGS-HD instead . . .

              • So can someone please explain to me what these 'issues' are? I have had the game since release in the UK and have pretty much platinumed it and havent seen any serious issues. Game hasnt frozen on me a single time, no frame rate issues, no problem connecting online. The only issues I have experienced is sometimes the a.i. players will just stand there untill you reach the next checkpoint but this is rare maybe 2 or 3 times out of 20+ hours gameplay. I also noticed sometimes they hover in the air for a second when you spawn but I'd hardly call the latter an issue doesnt really bother me compared to games like Fallout, Red Dead and L.A. Noire which are all good games btw but they had some serious issues.

27 pages full of actual glitch/bug reporting:

Plus you can read plenty of critics/users reviews mentioning them as well. About the 'issues".

Plus not being a real Re game, scary, survival-horror, etc.

                  Well, you did ask.

Lol thanks appriciate the effort but I'm not reading 26 pages of apparent glitches. I havent had any so maybe some people had a dodgy game.

I am the same, I've put a good amount of hours into this game on 360 and PS3 and the issues people are on about are either non-existing to me or happened very very rarely, enough to count on one hand. There are a lot of people out to hate on this game and that did so before release and yet apparently bought it/complaining about bugs, so would not surprise me if many of them are just people making stuff up.

The "making stuff up" excuse swings both ways. Also, nice job at ignoring the heaps of video evidence documenting the glitches.

Glitches generally occur at random unless there is a very particular glitch. Some people probably get lucky, others not so much.

                        • I've uncovered some nasty ones both online and offline. Nothing to do with AI partners either. I hope they get patched.

Yeah maybe just over exaggerating? I am not a huge fan of this game what so ever I'd just about say that its ok. The story is weak as hell and it does feel rushed but it is what it is and we all knew this going into it. What suprises me the most is the people who say its not a real RE game well duh do your research a quick 5 minute read on the internet would tell you this. I dont want to defend it because each to their own if you dont like it cool but I'm just saying I went into this game knowing what to expect and with very low expectations infact I hated it during pre-release so I get where people are coming from but if you look at it as a side game and just something to tie us over untill RE6 then its not that bad. Maybe some people are scared to enjoy it incase Capcom decides that it did well so make another like it and eventually change the main franchise to be more like it and if you look at it like that I'm kinda glad in a way for all the hate. I enjoyed it but theres no need for another. Change it up again and try something different. We had Outbreak, Rail shooters and now OCR I'd like to see something else now. RE Kart anyone??

To sum up OCR is like the one night stand of the RE series, we had fun, got our fix, both partys are happy but its time to move on and hope we didnt catch anything lol.

                            • I notice in other forums suggestions that the ORC bugs are as frequent as other less criticized games. Well, I just played some Skyrim earlier today for the first time in weeks, and whilst flying mammoths do grate a tad, the immense quality, depth, longevity, and drug-like curiosity generator this game offers, obliterates the few but ridiculous bugs that occur......ORC on the other hand, without the bugs, is a lazy & boring affair.

The Hunters merrily disco-dancing as they happily avoided me, whilst Bertha shot repeatedly & enthusiastically at a brick wall made me cry real tears of sorrow.

                              • I've ran into a great number of glitches in the game so far. I've had my character CQC kill thin air, had the sound crackle and go out completely during one game and then proceeded to freeze in the middle of a multi match, had Nemesis get stuck on something invisible in Nemesis mode so he was walking and turning but he wasn't moving, stood right infront of a first aid spray and tried EVERY angle and could still not pick it up, etc. Oh, I was also floating one match too. It was pretty great.
