Sure, you're right! Of course I'll keep it on my hard drive for whatever it might be good for!
It's just that I prefer playing my PSX games on the PSP on the go and my 8GB memorystick has totally reached it's upper limit thanks to all these Biohazard protos that keep appearing suddenly!

Hey, have some love for Kendo!

He's the only man you'll ever meet who has managed to survive with a (major, I might say) hole in his upper body:

Sorry, I just couldn't refrain from sharing this little gem after seeing your Kendo pic...

It's word against word. Don't take things for granted. The only way you can be sure is to cross check the versions yourself. Otherwise nothing can be certain, you cannot trust people on the Internet.

Valid threads - posted by valid members - will not be "deleted", they are locked.

It amazes me how paranoid some members at THIA can be... Relax, most likely Darkmoon will not eat you

Most likely, no. You assholes go straight to my waist.

You can earn up to a month ban if you post pirated material, such as retail games or movies. Otherwise it's pretty much a case of 'you need to be a huge dick' to get a ban.

It resulted in an unnecessary lifetime ban and a huge waste of good talent.
Yeah, some mods can be assholes. It's why we have a team of three current mods and two admins here to make sure no one person has total controll. Decisions made in haste and bad temper can and have been overturned in the past. Which is honestly why I'm still here. If I didn't agree with how things were handled here, I wouldn't be here, let alone work as a mod.

Democracy at its best, I believe that THIA has a good administration. For exactly that matter I wanted to emphasize the distinction of deleting and locking a thread, whereas the former action is directly hiding something from the members, which is in violation with the principles of THIA. Therefore, the staff will often lock threads publicly instead (in any case, deleted threads are never actually "deleted" but moved to a trash action as evidence, this from personal staff experience at another forum). Note that my intention was not to be picky on your post, Upaluppa.

And if we turn back to the topic, perhaps we should ask kevstah2004 to take a look at the files?

Edit: Well this comes as a shock to me, kevstah2004 is banned?

Edit2: I've made a request in the ban thread, so let's try to keep this thread clean and on topic please.

Upa, would it be possible to patch the jump feature of the debug menu into the Trial Edition, or more specifically, the hacked Trial Edition (v7a)?

No need to worry, Darkmoon. I have no intend on playing troll in disguise, helping Capcom loose money due to piracy or starting a product placement campaign throughout the forum!

Nah, it's fine. I just took it as friendly advice.

Importing the actual debug menu from the Bio2 Beta into the Trial Edition is beyond my abilities, I fear...
Not that I haven't dreamed about having a room warp mode in the demo myself!

There might be a way to create a home made jump feature with codes!
There are two way of warping to other rooms without a debug menu.
Either by aligning a door link to another room via RDT hacking or via the usual room modifier code!

The only problem with the room modifier is that it doesn't place you at the entrance of the new room and often gives you a hard time Walk Through Wall'ing your way back into the screen boundaries.

But since I have found the player coordinates in the memory I should be able to create a code which places you into the correct spot inside the room when using this code!

Can't remember, but the Calico M950 ever worked on those 2 Betas?

As far as I recall the calico in both the Trial and Beta 2/3 (depending on how anal you are about numbering) always acted like a pistol. It had the standard Pistol animations, so I think they never got further than making the model so the script was left undone.

Thanks, yesterday was trying with the Trial and it obviously crashes the game.

Turning the Calico into the SMG, somehow...

Now that you guys mentioned unused weapons...
Does anyone remember what you have to do in order to get the Calico to fire like the unused SMG?

I vaguely remember that someone on bioflames explained how to do it ages ago but I don't feel like digging through the entire bioflames archive just to find that one post again.

Simply using the weapon modifier to turn the Calico into the SMG is not enough, it crashes the game.
But I had done the trick myself back then, so I know for sure that it is possible to get it to work!
I just don't remember how I did it...

If my memory does not fail me the SMG did no damage at all to enemies, you just saw the burst of fire coming out of your Calico, that's all.
Still, it would be cool to do this again!

I guess I'll try playing around with the Calico+Weapon Modifier a little, perhaps I can find out how to get it to work!

                        Edit:
I am talking about Beta 2, by the way!
You can't equip the Calico in the Trial Edition as far as I remember.

Basically if you moved the Calico, Pl**w0D to the PC version, all it had were the default animations of a Pistol.

The only way I could ever get the calico to fire like a SMG was to swap the models around on the Mac11 so the Mac 11 had the Calico model.
