RE4 + RE:CV HD pack release date??

The news about the RE4/RE:CV HD pack for the PS3 has gone very very quiet, what I'm wanting to know was when is the proposed release date again??

Play-Asia isnt even listing it yet so im worryed. Even the Biohazard version. Yet they have pre orders for bloody Raccon City

Is it still going ahead? I know Jap are getting a disk, and the USA a download?

So, something gets announced about a month ago with some basic details about estimated release window and a few screenshots are dropped on the public to show what they're talking about.

... thus 4 or so weeks goes by without any additional info ... Project is to be considered dead in the water?

Is the retail business suddenly following the horrors of modern day fan translations or something? Where people think something's dead just 'cause there's not a newspost every other day and a bi-hourly progress bar update?

It's understandable why there isn't much info there wasn't much happenings with previous HD remakes like GOWHD TRTHD or PoPHD. Lol it was so little cared about to the point that when I went to Gamestop to buy the Tomb Raider Trilogy the clerk asked "did they.even make that?"

And here was me, imagining I made fun of Chris too. I must have forgotten to add in that part of the joke, my pure unbriddled hatred of Leon (and his perfect damned hair!) getting in the way. Damn. Oh well. I'll just add the Chris joke in next time. And I shall remeber - making fun of Leon is blasphemous. He (and his lucious, perfect hair, ready for HD) must be treated with honour and respect at all times, or I shall forever be Small Time.

On a remotely serious note, I am curious, to those of you who know about this - what kinda graphical upgrades can we really expect from the HD version? I mean, they could obviously rebuild CODE: Veronica to look as good as RE5 if they wanted, but that would cost and ungodly sum of cash and not exactly likely. So what kinda improvement can we expect?

My mistake, i didn't realise the rule was as long as you balanced it out with another fictional character it was ok. I'll be sure to remember to balance out my next Outbreak jibe with a reference to the Chronicles series then.

There's a difference between making fun of something, such as Outbreak or Leon, and doing so specifically to wind some else up. If I kept on taking the piss outta Leon I'd be guilty of the second. And yes, I am very tempted. As it was, though, I was pretty obviously taking the piss outta the whole HD concept for these two. I seem to recall a whole bunch of Outbreak comments from you, usually aimed at someone right after they made a comment about wanting you to stop. See the difference?

I will say this, and I'm being utterly serious, that it amuses the hell outta me that some members of the forum seem to be getting as bad as some of the Jill fans a lot of the same members used to rag on. Make fun of Leon? Get a nasty comment. Say something negative about ORC? Get a put down. Yet a lot of those same people were the ones who moaned, on and on, about Jill fans complaining when you said anything negative about Jill.

And thus, the karmic circle of my hilarity is complete. So, yes, I'll still make fun of Leon. And Chris. And Jill. And Wesker. And Rebecca. But not Claire. Because I like Claire. She's perfect to me and no one may ever be meant to her, ever.

I will try to avoid winding anyone up with it, though. And, of course, feel free to report me Carn or Dot if you feel I've attempted to wind you up rather than simply using my own brand of humour to amuse myself and my fans (all two of them - hi guys!).
