17 times $39.99 = $679.83 that Capcom is not getting, and that is just us on this forum, and not including all of the people who still do not have a 3DS, nor intend on buying one until much later on.
I have a feeling that their sales on this game are going to flop. I'm really curious to see what the numbers are in a couple of months.

haha this is right up there with some of the most ridiculous posts i've ever seen on this forum - and this is the forum where someone signed up to ask if anyone had Mila Jovivic's email address for them!
It's almost like you're surprised that people aren't going to want to buy a video game? Your "just us on this forum" line is about as useful as "the bed-ridden at the nursing home across the road".
Capcom is putting (so far) minimal effort into a stop gap title, which has Resident Evil in it's title, on a system that many perceive to be starved of quality titles. Throw into the mix that Mercs formula is just about as perfect as you can get for a handheld title and Capcom will be on to a winner.
Personally, if I was Capcom, I would be a touch concerned about how many of the core fanbase isn't interested in this title. I would be interested to see how much more interest there is for ORC and Revelations, if it's simply the Mercs format that's not getting people's attention.
But yeah, bar the 3D effect, this is pretty much something one guy in Capcom's office could have made. I cannot believe development costs were very high for this, so even if they only sell a stupidly low number of units, 100,000 worldwide or such, I imagine they'll at least make there money back.
I think Revelations and ORC will do better though. I'm already sold on ORC, and Revelations, just waiting on more screens and videos, but I think it's going to be good, considering they're going for a "pure horror game." But we'll see.
Something I didn't like though recently, in an interview, where they said that they are reserving the horror for the main series, and the side games not-so much horror. If Revelations is a pure horror game, doesn't that contradict what they have said?
It wouldn't be the first time the PR minion from Capcom didn't have a bloody clue. Chris Krammer, I think his name is, pretty much got universally ridiculed during RE5's development for not knowing jack about the series. Such wonderful comments as, 'It wouldn't be RE without loads of action' and 'Barry was killed by the Tyrant in the first game' made him pretty much a whipping boy for our amusement.

You're half right. Kramer's quote was "It wouldn't be Resident Evil without chainsaws!" Yes, it hurt so much more.

No, you're just reading it the wrong way. Revelations is (supposedly, there words not mine) a pure horror game and part of the main series. It's not a side game.
The main reason why I woint but this game right away is because i dislike the idea of selling what's meant to be a bonus game as a stand alone product at full price it should have been another DLC for 5.
