Well, if they did it in a classic style with the same philosophy they had for REmake, it would be awesome. And I admit, I feel tingly imagining a combined RE2/RE3 game with today's graphics...and not on rails, fuck you Capcom again for that.
I just honestly doubt Capcom would do it. They have the capacity to do to so, obviously, but I can't help but foresee marketing come in going, 'Oh, those tank controls won't sell, can you switch it to third person aiming...oh, and let's make it more actiony, have some run and gun in there, and puzzles will just break up the flow, and exploration will just mean time not shooting stuff and zombies aren't cool any more, everyone is doing zombies, let's make the enemies something new...'
And then I kill them all.
