The 9th loadout benefits the female characters mostly, since the gun is so powerful allowing them to finish EX enemies with a melee... The gun on normal levels just kills most in one/two shots, haha.

Wait, gifts in DOA? I've been playing DOA but had no idea there were gifts?

I had no idea about the DOA gift thing as well. And I didn't know play coins unlocked loadouts in Mercs 3D.

Click the (!) at the top of the screen in DOA. It should ask if you want to use coins to unlock something...sometimes its a costume, other times its just a character pose.

Doublel posting but meh....just got a beautiful 150 combo with a random player that actually knew their shit. I've been playing for about 45 minutes while waiting for some company to arrive...and most people I've played with have either had really shitty connections, would quit right when I was about to rescue them (with plenty of health left) or would run around using nothing but Krauser's knife. The other amazing player was someone using Barry on EX-9.

So I'll be on for another 30 minutes or so...my guests have been stuck in traffic and wont arrive on time. Anyone feels like playing, pm me.

The lack of 180 while reloading does suck. But at least we can run while reloading, really lets you get out of the thick of it.

Has anyone played me on the 3DS yet? My bro and I did a local match and got a 123 combo today on Mission EX-1. Gotta love Hunk with the Red9 and double grenade launcher.

I love how you can shoot them in the knee then use a finishing move to kill them off. Only one bullet per kill. And man the Garadors and Super Salvadors are no match for the double grenade launcher.

If I'm not using the ninth Red9 and GLauncher, I usually use Weskers loadout for Chris and Hunk. I also like using Rebecca's loadout with Hunk and Chris. Chris has very powerful melee moves indeed.

How many of you play with the 3D on? I turned the 3D up right away when I first played, and wasn't really impressed with the depth. (Especially after playing OoT.) I decided to play a couple levels with it fully on until yesterday, and it seemed to.. well.. help! The depth, although slight, helps to show how far away enemies are. I was quite surprised how much better I did!

On EX-1 I just got an awesome 150 combo, 776298 points. I really wish there was a way to add the people you play with online. Neither of us were using Rebecca's loadout either. I used Hunk with his normal weapons, and he used Krauser with I believe Barry's. S/he would keep the combo going while I kept stunning/melee Dr. Salvador and the infected around him. Absolutely wonderful. But yeah...like I said...I wish there was a better way of adding/communicating with the people you play with.

Rumoured SS every single stage, possible with every character. Nobody knows for sure because everyone takes the lazy method and buys the loudout with 3DS coins.

I played a guy on 5-2 in the Mines. I was Hunk with the 9th loadout and he was Partriotic Barry. We ended up with a 313,000+ score and beat all enemies with 3 minutes to spare on the clock. We also had a 145 count combo. Fun as hell to say the least.

I played a guy on EX-1 earlier and we got a 134 combo with about 600,000+ points though we ran out of time (was about to get a 90sec bonus plus a bonus point chest). Hes was Chris's alternate costume with the 9th loadout as well. We laid waist to everything in our path!

If anything that's technically the least lazy method as it requires you to acually move. But I get what you mean, it's a shortcut. And also what I did.

Rebeccas loadout is amazing, managed to beat EX-LEVEL 9 with a Chris (using Jills loadout) and we got over 1.1 million points.

I wish there be leaderboards to see how we rank up there.
