The first one is a disc, the second looks like a book, but I cannot be sure. Hope that helps!

I literally laughed at your response. I don't mean what type of item is it. They are both in Japanese, so I have no idea what either of them say.

My brother is fluent in Japanese. I'll ask him to check these out when I see him this afternoon.

The disc is a Biohazard 5 sound disc. Couldn't really read the last two kanji properly due to the lighting on the photo.

It seems to read sort of like a show sound disc/sound sampler disc.

I could be reading it wrong because I'm tired, but that's about all I could make out on the bottom line of the disc.

I'm not quite sure about that disc though, since I haven't seen it before or cataloged and the usual image Capcom used was for the Selection Tracks one using one of the other renders of Chris and Sheva and the text was printed in English and not Japanese on the other ones.

It also doesn't have any company print on it either that would go with a selection track album or even a bundled promo disc so I'm not quite sure about it I'm afraid.

And the book is the joint work of Capcom & Famitsu, it's the Biohazard 5 Dissolution guide book published by Enterbrain.

The disc looks like a bootleg due to the complete lack of Capcom credits.

What's the matrix and mould IFPI codes?

I'd agree with Anders. It looks like a Chinese bootleg bigtime.

                Boot. Kanji is in Chinese:
Something about "raw, chemical, zombie, danger desk."

Sorry, but I do not speak or read Chinese.

The Disc is a bootleg for sure, got one myself off ebay. Also watch out in ebay. I bought a copy of RE4 PC and it was a Hong Kong silver in a slim DVD case with a standard stick on CD label.

I have no idea what the book is and I can't read Kanji at all.

Yeah, the disc seems to be a bootleg of music (Selection Tracks is a possibility due to how it's worded, have you checked what's on it)?

Since when just translating it from Chinese it ends up with a weird reading on the bottom, but when using Japanese readings it seems to match up with that. I just couldn't read the last two on there to confirm what the hell it says though.

If you took another photo showing the bottom clearer I could probably work it out. Either that, or whack the disc in and have a poke around to see what's on it would probably solve the confusion a bit easier.

And the book is, again as I said - the Biohazard 5 Capcom & Famitsu written Dissolution Guide published by Enterbrain.

You can actually buy it off PlayAsia - it's store page on the site.
