What's the actual size of the games? I can imagine them compressing certain aspects in order to make it more acceptable for digital download.Last edited by News Bot; 09-09-2011, 02:39 AM.PROJECT Umbrella - The BIOHAZARD/RESIDENT EVIL Compendium

How do I check his soles? I can tell by the visuals that it's the Wii/NGC version.

Study the bottom of his shoes during that moment to determine if the red design is on his shoes. I own three copies of RE4 and the PS2 Leon model lacked the design on it.
And since some might wonder if the new edition of RE4 is based on the Cube or PS2 version, just take a look at a comparison shot between those two versions (GameCube version is the one on top).
The new version should have the complete polygon count of the Gamecube version:
Hope that helps clear things up.Stuff to remember: Avoid forums if you're having a bad day.

Yes it's compressed. Voices and most grunts sound fine but once and a while you here like it's muffled or flat. Like Mercs 3D compressed at times. Well maybe not that extreme but similar.

BioCV is a little under 2.5GB while Bio4 is about 3.5GB. I have to double check though.

Also guys I will be uploading two videos tonight. It will be the first 10 minutes of gameplay from both games in 720P HD. You can see how they look then. It will be from the PS3 version as I lent my XBOX and XBOX copy of the game to a friend.
I will also be doing complete playthroughs in 720P HD.
As an unteresting tidbit the games till play in the original Japanese language and title, but the trophies and achievements are in English. SO on the PS3 it says "Resident Evil Code Veronica X".
Oh and Bio4's trophies are just bad. They have ones like beat chapter 1, beat chapter 2, and so on.Last edited by Zombie_X; 09-10-2011, 12:13 PM.

LOL I was wrong about Bio4's trophies. I really haven't played it that much. Just kinda guessed at the trophies.
Also BioCV looks incredible guys! Textures seems to have some upgrades. The lighting is perfect IMO. The game is much darker now and fits better. Gothic and dark are perfect. The original was great but was far too bright looking and that did not help the atmosphere. The game is now very dark and dreary. A very good change IMO.
Also if any of you are hoping for 5.1 surround sound then you'll be disappointed as both games only output stereo sound . I thought it was mentioned it would have surround, no?
