    Nope.

720P with no anti-aliasing whatsoever (thanks to lazy arse Capcom).

No, they do use it. Especially after the start of the current generation of consoles. That's why many of those that got the Revival Selection (or are planning to get it), have cried bloody hell once they found out these games don't have AA.

Next-gen games that suffer from a lack of AA, its usually because they have been upscaled to run on HD machines.

I agree that with regular CRT users, AA isn't much of an issue. But for HDTV users, it is an issue.

It doesn't matter to em at all. There aren't many jaggies at all. Hell nothing that a patch can't update, right?

Also 720P and 1080P don't really matter that much. 720P is good enough for both games. Besides my NAD T-747 (damn good audiophile receiver) receiver can upscale it for me and it looks really good with it. I also sue the built in mpeg noise video filter which helps smooth the jaggies on Bio4. That's me though.

Both games look great and Bio4 looks much better than it did on the Wii and NGC, though the lighting is kinda weird. Also the fog in the games seems thinner.

Because of the large amount of polygon elements on screen, seeing jaggies all over RE4 is common. This compared to the amount you could see in a game with a much lower poly count - such as CVX.

That's why ppl complained when they first got a hold of the 480p version of RE4 and begun running it on HDTV's a few years back. The jaggies were visible even with all the blurryness.

On a true HD machine and running it at 720p, the jaggies are being reported to be ever more clearer than before. Thus why they complain about the lack of AA. Presently, I'm reading a lot about that online.

I agree that there isn't much difference between 720p and 1080i.

And upscalling Bio4 does smooth-out the jaggies alright. I've seen that with games that are not actually rendered in HD. That's because when scalling up the game, it tends to blur the jaggies.... Including the general image you get.

For both games combined you would need about 6GB.

                    Early impressions suggest otherwise.

Well i did see some 15 min gameplay videos and the lightning looks amazing and nothing like the older version of code veronica. :X
It kinda makes it look alot more spooky in my book.

                      • Sony revealed the mandatory install info on the Revival Selection's CVX and Bio4:

                        • CVX takes up 2450 MB of hard drive space
                        • Bio 4 takes up 3640 MB of hard drive space

Said games also require additional space for game saves.

If you can't see any difference between 1080p and 720p on a 40" HDTV you have serious eyes issues.

720p belongs to the past already, it looks awful on a HDTV, especially if the AA isn't good enough.

You're probably part of the people who say there's barely any difference between a movie on DVD and BLU-RAY.

                            • Yo guys,

As promised here's a 13 minute video of Bio4 running on the PS3.
Short 13 minute preview I recorded from my new copy of "Biohazard Revival Selection: biohazard 4 HD".

Here's a 14 minute preview of BioCV on the PS3:
Short 14 minute preview of BIOAHZARD Code Veronica Complete HD from "Biohazard Revival Selection".

                              • Thanks Zombie X.

I couldn't help noticing that at 0:35 in your video the screen shows safety and warning messages in Japanese ...including what appears to be the standard messages about watching 3D content on 3DTVs.

You typically don't get that message on games that don't support stereoscopic 3D. I'm hoping this means that BH4 and/or CVX do actually support stereoscopic 3D. They may need to be plugged into a 3D-capable display for the option to become available. My copy should arrive this week, so I'll give it a go on my 3D projector when it does.
