  • Alex Wesker mentioned in RE1?

I replayed Remake a week ago and i have these interesting questions.

While reading a file in the laboratory I found a A.Wesker in such file (Cant remember the name) and I always tought it was refering to Albert but then acording to Wesker Report II He wasnt working there since 1991. So could it be Alex? Can someone elaborate on this?

The other question was while reading Williams Diary(?) dropped by Wesker and in it mentions how Birkin cant wait to rub on Alexias face the G-virus but didnt he tought She was dead?

Alex Wesker never worked at the mansion. He was placed in the Information Department by Spencer circa 1998 after he adapted to the experimental virus.

Although Wesker officially stopped working at the mansion in 1991, he obviously still visited there as a consultant for Umbrella as he is mentioned in other recent files such as 'sunglasses bastard' and of the course the R&D staff photo.

The observation note is a poor translation. Here is the official version:

      Thank you so much.

Another thing that I wondered about that photo was if that was Annette and William there, any info on that?

About William and Alexia, according to Project Umbrella's translantion of the file Observation of Note Birkin says:

Even in death, that girl, Alexia, is sure to feel bitter about my discovery.
So Birkin knew about Alexia's death, but there was a mistranslation of the file.

As for Wesker, I don't remember which file you're talking about, but I doubt Spencer would put two Wesker Children in the same city and risk his plans, even if they didn't have any reason at all to think there was something more about themselves.

Unknown. I doubt it as they were both busy with the G-Virus research at the underground lab at this point. One of them is likely John Clemens, chief researcher and boyfriend of Ada.

Wasn't Alex thought of in RE5 to give wesker some kind of extended backstory?
RE5 included Alex into the cannon, which is all cool, but I doubt anyone had Alex in mind when they made the earlier RE games. I'm sure Mikami didn't have Wesker clones in mind either.

I really hope they don't define Wesker (Albert) as a clone. I never got that impression when reading on the Wesker children. I thought they were handpicked children from upstanding families with supposedly these awesome genes.

Always on about the genes...think Alexia was bad I can't imagine the rants and raves Ozwell went on about it.

Still...I don't imagine Alex would be a clone taking on the sunglasses and the greased back blonde hair. I sure hope not. If they do plan to use him then he needs to be a separate entity from Albert. As much as it pains me to think Albert's journey is over, it sort of is.

How do you survive a molten pit of lava and two "red painted" rockets from your archnemesis and annoying sidekick?

                      There are no clones.

Why do people think this? I don't get it. The Wesker Children are not in any way blood related. There is no reason Alex Wesker would look anything like Albert. He may be a fat, bald dwarf for all we know. He just passed the test because of his outstanding intellect and the fact he adapted successfully to the experimental virus.

The only relation he has to Albert is the false surname of Wesker they were both given as children when they were too young to remember or conditioned otherwise.

He won't be short or fat. The Wesker Children were both mentally and physically superior specimens. But no, they're not clones. I think people assume they are because they all have the same last name or something.

He would also have Alberts abilities, He did survive the experimental virus after all.

Probably not. The Prototype Virus tests which Birkin conducted found that there was a chance that infected hosts would revive following death with no abilities. Just pure revival.

In experiments with animals, 70% of the subjects grew more powerful as a result of this resurrection. Their muscular and circulatory systems for exceeded those they possessed in life.

This virus has been designed to conquer death. 20% came back to life, but with none of the beneficial side-effects present in the primary group. The remaining 10% remained dead.
                            Of course, probably not.
