Well I believe Resident Evil Movies suck
Resident Evil Cgi Movies are ok.
Games are Awesome (besides Survivors and Deadly Aim are pretty crappy ).

The first was alright. IMO could've done without the laser hallway but other than that I didn't have much problem with it.

Saw the second one. Never bothered watching the rest.

Degeneration is definitely the best out of all of em though, in my own opinion anyway.

The first one was okay, Apocalypse was good until Alice came crashing the church's window with a motocycle, Extinction was awful and Afterlife might be the worst movie I watched in my life.

Degeneration was fun to watch and the best part was that had something to do with RE story.

Movies are bullshit their developer and script writer dont know anything about Resident Evil. they probably just saw they name of the game and some screenshots. They are keep pulling

Anderson's Kungfoo Evil Movies(Yes,he should have just called the movies that because he's embarracing himself and Capcom) are shit.

Capcom's cgi Resident Evil movie is awsome.it helps fill plots in the story.And the best part is Degeneration is a real Resident Evil a Movie.I hope Damination is just as good as Degeneration.

To tell the truth, the first one isn't that bad... My problem came with Apocalypse. WHO THE FUCK APPROVED THAT NEMESIS COULD BE A GOOD GUY? Everything went down the shithole from there.

I'm kind of angry cuz Paul Anderson can really do good movies (Event Horizon? Mortal Kombat?), but his "Resident Evil" looks like something made by Uwe Boll.

The first movie was not very good but it was not unbearable. Never saw the others but from what I heard and saw they are pure garbage.

I thought Degeneration was terrible also. It was okay at the beginning, but then the movie started to get really ridiculous, especially when Angela and Leon began to stare at each other silently forever....

Since REzero, RE games are becoming more and more stupid (even though RE4 was awesome gameplay wise)

I don't know how they can make RE outstanding again

Love the shit out of them, and I don't care what others say. I own the trilogy on Blu-Ray and just recently went out and got Afterlife on Blu-Ray too. Can't wait for this fifth film Milla says is in development.

(And yes, I've been called a liar and a troll for saying I like them, as well as mentally ill and straight up fucking retarded, among other such things. Many of which I was called on this forum. For liking a movie. Gotta love rational people. )

The nice thing about them is the fact that they're not related to the game canon. They don't affect the story of the games, so they can go do whatever they want without hurting the game canon. And I'm totally okay with that.

Unlike Degeneration. Which is part of the game canon and not only was a completely shit pile of trash (in my opinion, of course), but was completely unnecessary. They could've just shown the last five seconds of footage showing the Tricell logo and it would've been better than the movie as a whole. It was just an opportunity to make Leon look as badass and godly as can be when animated by mere mortal man.

And as much as people bitch and moan about Milla being a Mary Sue, Leon is just as much of a Gary Stu.

She can kick glass out of the air (without the effect of her powers, which are gone in Afterlife), he can defy gravity with a stupid grappling line. She had some telekinetic ability, which is the reason for everyone screaming godmode at her, yet Leon (perfectly human) is totally allowed to walk around with an entire military-grade armory that shouldn't be humanly possibly to carry easily, let alone use effectively. And even without the whole "gameplay mechanic" part, we know that in canon, at the very least, he has a handgun (so he has a holster), a TMP (Separate Ways), and then a shotty and a rocket launcher, as well as a revolver (all scattered through the game instead of buying). So where would he put all that on his person and backflip over lasers (something Alice never actually has to do, powers or otherwise)? Even being more realistic and saying he only gets the TMP, handgun, and shotgun, he looks like he'd have nowhere to holster them. You can't expect him to Rambo a TMP in one hand and a shotty in the other, let alone a pump-action, the entire time.

And again, the fact he can Neo over walls of lasers is bad enough, but the fact that he has all this extra weight on him makes it goddamn impossible outside of Capconian logic.

So don't go bitching about Alice without looking at Leon. Both are offenders, but in my opinion, Leon is far worse for the simple fact that he is supposedly a normal human being. And Alice tones it down severely in Afterlife (if you look at it objectively, of course, not something people do often around here) compared to the previous two. The most insane thing she does once becoming a normal person again is kick a giant falling glass shard into a dog. Yeah, that's a bit much. But compared to the shit Leon was pulling? Psh.

The CG movie might have been better than the live action movie, but it still fucking sucked.
