Do not mention the movies in comparison to Revelations! (I hate the movies, besides the first half of Apocalypse, what with Jill being somewhat in-character, until Alice shows up to ruin it.)

My freaking out aside, it would thrive in water. All the organisms the t-Abyss virus alters become aquatic based. It would be pretty bad, adaptation-wise, if it dried up what its' hosts need to live.
Revelations has a plot with twists everywhere. Way to go, Capcom, you successfully pulled off a mind-screw plotline.

I doubt it would do that, by the sounds of things it NEEDS water to survive. The t-Abyss would be useless in desert regions, it would have no water to thrive in. Every organism, even though viruses aren't living things, require three things to survive - one of which being a food source. In the case of t-Abyss, it's a virus I know, that could be water.

        Practically everything has water.

See this is what will keep this community alive - discussion. When a new game is announced, we analyse the facts, discuss what we know and theorise. It's fun to guess what could happen, then seeing how wrong or right we were when the game is released.

Which is why Signs still makes no sense whatsoever.

I meant in the way it infects water, not that it'd dry it up.

Guess Chris and Jill are the only returning characters in Revelations.

...As much as I like Jill, I would like to see Jessica and Parker in combat for once in these gameplay trailers.

Honestly? I'm rather pleased that they seem confined to support roles and don't act as your personally gun totting sentry bot/permanent escort mission. I was really rather worried that they were going to be there like Sheva. I hate AI Sheva. It would have been a game breaker for me, stopping me from getting it wherever down the line I get bored and pick up a 3DS.

I mean that, if we're going to presumably play as them at some point, I would like to see them being controlled by the player. (During Comic Con, the rep. mentioned in a panel how you'll have to use each character's abilities, because each character has a different skill set.)
