Guys, get real. If this even exists it doesn't exist on a retail disc, first pressing or not.

Do you think the "http://www.crunkgames.com/?p=35" is lying about the special copies containing the Japanese intro?

        More or less, yes.

That's what we're trying to find out right now. Whether the rumors about U.S. version of Resident Evil on Sega Saturn containing uncut videos are true or not.

Yeah, and I'm telling you it's 100% sure it's not on a factory-pressed retail disc. If something like this exists it must be on a prototype CD-R.

Yeah, pre-release beta/ alpha versions used in-house for debugging and whatnot, or preview discs for magazines.

But if none of the three retail versions - US, Japan, Europe - contains this full intro, it's unlikely to exist and is just a myth.

Japan version (BIO HAZARD) on both released and retail Saturn versions contain uncut intro in black and white. You maybe kind of right about the retail versions in U.S. and Europe.

Yeah but the rumor talks about intro in color, so that doesn't mean anything.

If they do have it on retail versions, will you be surprized? Stars g36 said that he rented the version on Sega Saturn with the gory uncut intro intact. Look for the post made by Stars g36 on page 1 of this topic.

Yes, I would be very surprised. Almost as surprised as if 1.5 came on a Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 disc.
Yes, I saw it, but his memory must be incorrect.

Will you PM Stars g36 to see if he's incorrect about renting a rare uncut version. I would think Star's g36 is wrong too. If he's right, then we may have a chance. ;)

You can do it, I'm going to bed.

(The rental copy was probably just the normal retail disc, with an added stamp or sticker from whichever company it was rented at.)

Let's hope the factory sealed retail version is uncut...

I may have been incorrect as Anders says, it was so many years ago when I played it (like when I was 10, Im 22 now lol), though I don't think it was in color I do remember the intro being more graphic then PS1 versions I have now (Original and DC) Sorry to cause any extra excitement.

                                Could be wrong lol.
