That comment is a lie, there is no way he would only have that much footage.... I know and so does everyone else he has more footage and probably the game still. I'll be waiting for more new footage, cause i know it's coming.

More begs the question of how the hell the gorilla even got into the back of a RPD van, if its an umbrella truck its more understandable

Speaking of the whole truck thing Alzaire why exactly are those umbrella vans even parked in the RPD Garage? because the only theory I can come up with is that either The RPD themselves impounded the vehicles due to Umbrella being found guilty of the mansion incident, OR in the case of Linda being down there is there a possibility that she herself drove that van to the garage whilst escaping the umbrella lab therefore the reason her being found there is her trying to contain the gorilla to the best of her abilities again these are all theories

Personally I'd guess Umbrella attacked them. There's no driver's cab - it's just the trailer. Considering it's location and the cab missing, I would guess when shit was starting to hit the fan, Umbrella backed into the parking lot and cut the trailer loose hence it rolled down and hit the column. Clearly the RPD raided the Umbrella Packaging/Warehouse Facility as seen by police cars and cop zombies present. So maybe it was payback and/or to disrupt the police. 1.5's story suggested that the STARS testimonies were believed and backed up by evidence found at the mansion's remains. Umbrella was pretty much in the process of being investigated and shut down, but there must have been some parts of it still functioning for a while that were responsible.

Linda was probably either arrested during the lab raid or was going to be a witness against Umbrella, hence her being in the RPD during the time of the outbreak.

I personally loved how the RPD Parking Lot looked compared to the final, actually seemed like a crisis was going on during the outbreak.

I'd say my explanation above seems more likely than this being an impounded trailer, considering the evidence of no driver's cab, where it's "parked", and such. The baboons were probably dropped off by Umbrella in the trailer expecting them to break out and disrupt the police. The idea of Umbrella dropping off a present in the RPD probably helped spawn the Mr.X idea in retail. Personally I think the Umbrella Packaging/Warehouse facility raid was a failure and might have happened in the middle of the outbreak, or potentially is what caused it. Replace the USS guys in retail with cops breaking into the labs to bust the scientists and shit goes down, creatures/virus gets released. Police in the warehouse area get attacked and killed by potentially the smaller baboon creatures that escape the lab (as seen there are some running around in the conveyor belt area). Virus goes airborne and/or rats track it into the sewer and voila you've got the outbreak in a similar fashion as retail.

I have to agree with alzaire's idea it seems more likely Umbrella did dump those gorillas down in the RPD due to the assault on the warehouse/labs, never saw that image of the crumpled trailer so I just assumed they had being impounded as evidence and why is it that this version of umbrella sounds more badass than the final version? I mean in retail 2 all they did was deploy Mr X and in 3 the UBCS and Nemesis, in this they actually assaulted the whole RPD with some of their own experiments, seems more sinister
