While I don't like the whole Resident Evil Extinction idea, I would love to have a Resident Evil game set in a desolate tundra. I know CODE: Veronica took place in part in Antarctica, and Umbrella Chronicles' "Fall of Umbrella" scenario was set in Russia during winter, but the environments weren't used in any really interesting ways. They were just backdrops (though you probably couldn't do much with the environment in an on-rails shooter).
Maybe Revelations will take advantage of the snowy, mountainous terrain, but I can't help but feel like more could be done with that kind of setting on a console. I mean, Capcom already has experience with snow, thanks to Lost Planet. Of course, I also think a setting like Africa or Haiti could still be used in interesting ways for a survival horror game, but after RE5, we'll likely never see it.
