It could be because Capcom hasn't even mentioned a release date for Japan.

And ORC seems tailor-made for western gamers anyway. So I dunno, maybe they thought nobody would care for it there.

Still, you can already see RE6 making more headlines than any of the other RE games soon to be released.

Sucks that all that suff turned out to be fake. The logo still looks hopeful, though it'll be ridiculous if after all the BS all we get is an announcement of "It's coming!....five years after you were hyped for it."

I agree tomorrow if capcom just announce it with a logo then its kinda pointless yes capcom we know your making this game already show us something we dont know

hints give us a real trailer images of main characters abit of the story. ( but not to much of course)

I don't think there will be anything at all shown at the TGS in regards to RE6. It is simply too early. They are more focused on Revelations right now, and if Revelations is to tie in with RE6, how can they properly make RE6 if they are not done with Revelations? As you know any game can go through tons of changes through development, which is why it is more likely that we will get more on RE6 a few months down the road after Revelations is released. Probably the next TGS.

Do we really know if that logo is real? It seems that in this day and age, anyone can make an authentic-looking logo, artwork, and video, so it's really easy to get people's hopes up, much like this guy did with this fake RE6 trailer and artwork.

rehunk88 posting that link is what made me think of this post. It's more likely true that Capcom is no where near ready to show anything from RE6.

Just some jerk going around trying to get people to believe in his fake stuff, that's all.

Two years in development doesn't mean shit, even if they said it was two years themselves. They could have been contemplating ideas for the game, or doing research. Or maybe playing around with all sorts of things, and scrapping little builds here and there.

I have to admit, them taking a step back with Revelations was probably the smartest move they could have done after RE5. It gives them something to work with, so that they can properly continue the story after the closure of RE5, and they can fix up the mess they made going in the action direction.

I'm not saying that haven't done anything with RE6, but I wouldn't get my hopes up for anything.

I hope I'm wrong, because I know how much you guys want to see something, but it may be too early for Capcom.

But not too early for the big C's shareholders, though. They are probably demanding that RE6 gets out there to cash-in on the success that was RE5.

Thus why we will probably see 'something' about said game... eventually. Hopefully soon.

Since when 2,5 years is too early now? It's sad that in this generation we've become accustomed to wait so long for sequels, when most of the time it's not really justified.

Most of the wait for RE4 was because of the development hell that game went through. Once they set a direction in stone it wasn't that long to make. Oddly enough games like DMC and Demento came out of the RE4 development hell. I even remember Enetirnel showing me things and locations from RE3.5 that made it to Demento.
