The series has always been aimed at teens. Though the presentation in the older games was a lot more mature despite that. Chalk it up to the fact that the newer developers are a lot younger. Hell, the head of the whole series at the moment had only just joined CAPCOM for BH3.

What's wrong with sexualizing the male characters? The gaming industry has certainly been doing it to the female characters since time immemorial, and I don't see anyone vomitting over it. It's the logical progression if they plan on catering to women and other demographics.

I can only say that Volition made two of my favorite games ever during the PS2 era: The Punisher and Summoner 2. They can make serious games when they want to. Of all 3 SR games though, I personally feel 3 was the best.

Regarding the news, honestly I thought Chris sailor was the most ridiculous idea they could bring out, but I was wrong, now we have: Lady Hunk.
Seriously do they think that people enjoy those stupid costumes they are making in the later games?

Exactly what I said.. They're ''suppost'' to be fun but they look aweful.

Even Outbreak had nice outfits - some silly ones too (Cindy Bunny) but some lovely 'normal' ones too (Cindy Vacation, Alyssa's Night Dress etc)
Jill in some vacation looking tourist clothes would have looked cool - coz it's a cruise liner.. LOL

Look on their facebook and other forums about those games. There is a strong distaste in Saints Row 3 and IV because of the childish content.
Saints row was about hard as nails gangsters in the ghetto. Now its about Preppy Celebs fighting off the mafia while wearing suggestive underwear. (Or no underwear).

They're only running around in suggestive underwear if you're dressing them up like that. Their marketing of the games merely points out that you've got an amazingly large amount of freedome in those games. Wanna know what my "Boss" looks like? In SR2 she was a 40s something school teacher with a male cockney voice. In SR3 it was the same cockney voice, but she'd de-aged to a 30s big-titted girl-Hitler (Thank you, Venture Bros). And the funny thing is ... not that I did that, but that Volition still somehow managed to cover their narrative asses in such a creative fashion that the game's story still makes perfectly good sense, even when I when the player does such a messed up thing to the main character ('cause as they pointed with SR2; no matter how you twist 'n' turn it, the main character of those types of games are friggin' sociopaths). Also, dunno why you're slagging SR3-4, whilst seemingly giving SR2 a free pass ... a game which has a first mission that consists of spraying shit all over town.

Not to mention that, while besides the point i was trying to make, all the DLC in Saints Row 3 was already on the disk. Every single piece. If you want proof of that look online. Theres a hack to enable all of it. This is further proven by: "How come such large DLC is only under 2MB?"
The "Dlc" for that game was unlock codes to unlock the content locked on the disk. Kinda reminds me of capcom.

And...? All the on-disc DLC for Saints Row 3 was only alternate costume stuff and a few joke/special function items anyway. Never needed by anyone but those who felt the need to use it or urge to buy it. And the game was already packed full of other extra content anyway (further expanded by the proper DLC expansions). Heck, some of the on-disc stuff could be unlocked by just playing the game normally, even (or unlocked in a similar fashion to EA's "Time is money" or "Pay to win/cheat" DLC)

C'mon! If you're gonna mock something, at least use a dev that's actually made a bad game (okay, Armageddon was NOT the Guerrilla sequel we should've had). I'd dare say Volition's one of the few devs that's almost got a clean record + they're doing something most other devs forget about; Making games that're pure unadultered and unnutured fun and gameplay (Saints Row IV = Saints Row 3 + Crackdown <3<3<3)

Also, the guns shoot soda and health kits are candy bars.

Next, the RPD is now a building with no zombies, but zombies wearing kitten outfits, and the blood would be colored blue.

After completing the game, you would have the option to adjust claires boob size and leons penis bulge size.

Yea, thats what Saints Row became. Once a really good series, until starting with Saints Row 3 they completely turned it into some child's joke. So if volition made an RE game, it would be just as i said.

I still believe Sailor Chris is the best costume in the series, hands down.
