In an interview with Masachika Kawata in the latest Nintendo Power, Kawata states that “(Barry is) definitely a possibility if we do create any DLC for the game.”

Yeah, he said he wanted Barry back as DLC for the 3DS version. But I guess they saved him up for the HD versions.

I'd much rather we get DLC chapters for Jessica and Raymond, especially the latter since he's sort of the "Ada" character in this game. Maybe some additional outdoor levels set in Terragrigia too.

1- Is the new enemy only in Raid mode, and is it the only new enemy?

1 new enemy and it will be in both RAID and Campaign. Not only that but to keep the scares unpredictable we're going to be repositioning/randomizing most all of existing enemy encounters to keep you on your toes!

2- Will there be new Guns/costumes for story mode, or just raid mode?

^^^ Like the above we're doing what we can to get the extras like these for use in both RAID and Campaign, will have final confirmation later.

3- Rachel...I noticed this in the trailer, a scene from her TGS story trailer, will we be seeing more of her in the game's story?

Haven't made any announcements in regard to campaign/story expansions. Right now we're focused on finishing/polishing the core experience for console/PC users. The 'Rachel Trailer' was indeed a unique piece that stirred up some interesting reactions among fans... including myself. To this day I still think she's one of the more memorable 'characters' in the game

Assuming I double dip, I'll likely get the Wii U version - if nothing else, all the hud elements would likely be relegated to the second screen, making for a cleaner presentation. Also looking forward to the new enemy: the potential for him to show up in room with Rachel and/or Scagdead could lead to some very interesting enemy encounters.

As expected, all the information that was displayed on the bottom 3DS screen gets re-positioned into the corners of the gameplay area in Unveiled Edition. Hopefully these can be turned off in the options ala RE6. Although, I assume the Wii U version will have everything mapped onto the gamepad screen.

The gushers and the detractors pretty much react the same to the character. In the sense that they can't seem to ignore her, regardless of how they feel about her.

Hopefully more randomization than re-positioning.

They recently held a "Resident Evil Festival" in Japan. And they had a demo of the game up and running.

And they mentioned something along those lines:

I agree that Revolution's sales numbers could shape the future of the main RE series going forward... I guess we'll all have to commit to buying five copies a piece for the sake of RE fans everywhere.
