The atrociousness of ORC, and repeated failings of the previous 2 main titles can hopefully be long forgotten by an improved edition of a game far too ambitious to be constrained to a portable, that actually offers a genuine balance between survival non-linear exploration and fast paced action, in a setting that works perfectly for this (The Shining type corridors for claustrophobic scare fights, and larger, more open areas for melee action).

....where I'll also be selling made to order costumes of the new B.OW. for a bargain £50 each. What self-respecting cos-player would miss out on such opportunity ? Here's an early design ~

    Egads! I'll take five!

I agree that Revolution's sales numbers could shape the future of the main RE series going forward... I guess we'll all have to commit to buying five copies a piece for the sake of RE fans everywhere.

we're going to be repositioning/randomizing most all of existing enemy encounters to keep you on your toes!
    Hopefully more randomization than re-positioning.

And to think I bought a 3ds purely for RE Mercs 3D and this hehe
Oh well.. Glad the graphics get an upgrade and extra stuff too..
Fingers crossed some new characters apart from Hunk make it into RAID mode (Claire and Rebecca pleeaaasse!)

Mercs for Vita would be good. The nature of Mercs lends itself to handhelds well, only having two analogue sticks, voice chat, invite system, visible friends list, messaging system and online leaderboards would make it not completely miss the point like the 3DS version did.

Well now I have no reason to get a 3DS! This should be pretty decent, hopefully Capcom are having a rethink about what the franchise is and what is worth bringing to the home consoles.

Haven't made any announcements in regard to campaign/story expansions. Right now we're focused on finishing/polishing the core experience for console/PC users. The 'Rachel Trailer' was indeed a unique piece that stirred up some interesting reactions among fans... including myself. To this day I still think she's one of the more memorable 'characters' in the game

Latest Revelations from mikeeb (Capcom USA Marketing Staff):

1- Is the new enemy only in Raid mode, and is it the only new enemy?

1 new enemy and it will be in both RAID and Campaign. Not only that but to keep the scares unpredictable we're going to be repositioning/randomizing most all of existing enemy encounters to keep you on your toes!

2- Will there be new Guns/costumes for story mode, or just raid mode?

^^^ Like the above we're doing what we can to get the extras like these for use in both RAID and Campaign, will have final confirmation later.

3- Rachel...I noticed this in the trailer, a scene from her TGS story trailer, will we be seeing more of her in the game's story?

Agreed... Revelations recaps are quite good, specially when you stop playing for a while, helps making context...
Also I liked when Deadly Premonition did it ;) lol
