Dear Lord, you again with that same shit?

You obviously sound awfully unaware that gyroscopic motion control aiming is an entirely optional control scheme. One that is not shoe-horned into the default one in any possible way. So it doesn't even fit into the definition of what a gimmick is.

Gyroscopic motion control aiming (Gyro Sensor) is clearly not something that is pasted superficially and adds nothing to the gameplay. It works as advertised and enhances the gameplay for a lot of people. To the point where they can't play without it.

But like I said before, its not for everyone. But just because you don't use it, that doesn't make it a gimmick. That's such an ignorant way of looking at it. Don't be that way for the sake of an argument. You know better.

But I'm moving on! (even if you refuse to)

New gameplay video that you should play with the volume all the way down:

    • You know the rules, cant praise Nintendo in any way or form here, else it makes Darcarys Iffy.

      • I hope they fix those loading times. The 3DS version took forever to load a new map through those not-so-seamless "transition" areas. Seems like it still does in the console version.

        • We'll have to wait and see what happens, games got a few months of development time left.
Maybe they can nerf some of the loading a bit.

          • I hope so. Or at the very least, remove the stuttering that occurs during the loading period. An HDD install option would be nice too.

              • The 'Dracarys can't like Nintendo' comments are getting old, and topic derailing. Everyone is entitled to state there opinion without constant mockery.

                  • I can't believe the elevator scenes still lag...

                    • its not lag...its load. when it loads just think of this:

                      • The problem with that kind of nostalgic conflation is that you're nonetheless given freedom of movement, which is destroyed by the fact that the game lags while the opposite end loads. Hardly comparable.

                        • I was mostly kidding about the load time. Still, who knows if they can kill some of the load?

                            • Some of the 360 area's look WORSE than 3DS .. mainly some of the water effects in the casino red pool (apart from lighting) and the elevator door textures are missing on 360 - pause it and see, on 3ds the door has scratch textures, on 360 its plain grey and lame.
Plus the DS version looks darker, although this is probs just the individual demo's having different brightness settings.
If you look at the casino pool, on 3ds it has depth and is wavy (like the Wii effects) whereas on 360 it looks flat and too transparent to the point it looks shallow or empty until it turns red.

Oh and 3ds doesn't lag at all through doors whereas 360 does - look at the door in the kitchen/gally LOL
