Ah, that wasn't clear to me. It looked like you could do something against him, but... Guess not.

Yeah I completed it several times on 3DS so I figured it would be easy as I know what I was doing - boy was I wrong hehe .. Wall Blisters drive me crazy as you can't escape their insta-death *snap*

this game is the true truly RE6
can't believe crapcom did this and re6, these games are made by same company? jesus sweet christ

this is the only way to go
improving this means find the perfect RE

a fine tuning balance between action moments and classic way of play
It's not perfect, because there are any puzzles

but is a HUGE improvement they:
make a backtracking that works for the whole game
make enemies that not drop itens
make enemies that doesn't use fire weapons
make the fuc*ing files as readable in game like it aways been done
    make interesting new characters
make a good game story without lame plots

they now know what to do and what we want
now is up to you crapcom, your last chance

In my opinion people shouldn´t play Inferno on first time. Even if it´s possible to beat for a few very skilled players without proper powerful weapons and upgrades, if you try on your first playtrough you are going to die ALOT, and it will harm your game experience. That´s why developers normally recommend to play on default difficulty (and lock higher levels at the beginning), because in the first playtrough you need a moderate difficulty level to have a fluid game experience and a fluid journey across the plot.
Leave Inferno for replays, even if it´s not locked from the start it´s the way the game is meant to played.

I think I've actually reached the point of having to restart.

Doing this on Infernal FIRST ever playthrough, which makes it almost impossible as you have no weapons or upgrades.

Onto chapter 6, fighting the Observation Deck boss..
Had to restart chapter luckily I had a save apart from AutoSave.
Did not get the sniper rifle (forgot the pool area as it had lots of Wall Blisters)
Tried to kill it with 1 grenade, 1 herb, handgun, windham and the machine gun you find before Racheal boss.
Impossible to do but as it checkpointed and could not go back down the lift!

So I spent ages going back to Prom deck for ammo, and went through the pool, shooting 3 W.B's and got the sniper.
Unfortunately, I messed around with my upgrades, so when I got in the lift, my machine gun - which was great last time - got me killed instead.

Only for me to find none of this had been saves and I had to do it all over again! **** that! Try again tomorrow, but really ****** me off big time.
Don't wanna restart on Normal now though as I've come this far which is a miracle in itself - only like 2 people on some forums have managed it 1st time round with nothing from a previous game/save.

What would you guys do? Restart or show my skills and try and beat it with literally nothing - worked so far with upgrades you find first time around..

It was the 360 version, and it only ever happened when I was grabbed underwater in Chapter 8 (and specifically Infernal difficulty). Any other time and/or difficulty was fine.

What platform are you playing on? (You may of said, but i must of missed it).

I play the PC version had got grabbed alot, and never one freeze. Although, i did sometimes get a small 1 second freeze whenever i fired the pistol in the casino area. Only that area, everytime. No idea why.

Finally beat Infernal and Chasm difficulty on Raid mode. While I appreciated the more varied enemy placements in the former, I can't help but feel everything was just a bit too bullet spongy (especially the final boss, who I must've died 21 times trying to beat). Never did find the rocket launcher that's usually in Chapter 7 and it wouldn't let me keep the ones from the Malacoda fight. As final bosses go in RE games, he's still my least favorite (as he was on the 3DS as well).

It won't freeze at all if I just let the monster kill me, but if I dare wiggle the stick at all it permafreezes.

Seriously don't know how they could've gotten so much right with this port and yet do just enough to fuck it over at the same time.
Sorry to hear that you are having those problems. Lets hope there's an update soon...

I had a weird problem last night. It was kicking me out of raid mode, because it said that my ethernet cable wasn't connected. I'm connected wireless , so .... WTF?

Does anyone know if there is a special unlockable for casual mode? Or how can we unlock the crazy costumes (the pirate, the sailor and the other pirate)?

    Here's a few.

Jill's Pirate costume = clear the ghost stage

Chris's Sailor costume = Inflict 100,000 points of damage on an enemy in a single hit.

keith Ninja costume = Reach player lvl. 50

Rachael = Get the trinity bonus for the first time (don't get hit, kill all enemies, beat the stage at a level less then the recommended level)

Morgan Lansdale = Clear all stages on Trench with an S rank.

Jack Norman = Clear all stages on Abyss.

HUNK = Clear all stages on Abyss with an S rank.

EDIT: Happened a fourth time. At this point I'm ready to just fucking quit. I don't know what's going on, but it's like the game decided it just couldn't handle me struggling out of a creature's grasp underwater.
Wish I could help but it never happened to me, and I got grabbed ALOT. I did notice that almost everytime I use a melee attack (especially when I'm breaking open a crate) the game freezes for a split second, as well as when I'm in the elevator, but these are just minor freezes that pass very quickly.

EDIT 2: It's now happened a record SEVEN TIMES. It's seriously baffling how someone could fuck up a port this badly.

I'm assuming the costumes are unlocked through playing raid mode, I've played it a little bit and seem to have unlocked an outfit for parker, no pirate or sailor yet though

Speaking about Rachel, apparently she was meant to have a playable chapter (look at the Jessica´s Report for evidence) but that idea was scrapped at the end.
