I'll never understand why they couldn't give us the infinite rocket launcher for the non-Jill parts, too. The Airstrip and Terragrigia 2 are a pain in the ass on infernal.

I like it, too. Doesn't really make much sense in the RE world, but it's a great gameplay mechanic nonetheless.
    Mass production? Ridiculous!

It makes plenty of sense when you consider that the BIO world has unstoppable grappling hooks deterred by neither length or strength.

Well, you were not supossed to search zombie corpses because you want to avoid any physical contact with their putrid flesh and blood to minimize your chances of getting infected. It doesn´t seems to be a problem for Leon and Helena on RE6 though.

Besides, I allways found item drops on RE pretty ridiculous, frequently you get more bullets from an ordinary enemy than the amount of bullets you spend to kill him, considering that most normal enemies die with a headshot followed by a couple of melee attacks....

Genesis was an useful tool to replace ammo drops in RER, but sometimes it´s annoying, I mean, they could have set a fewer +15 or +20 handgun bullets instead of scatter +5 handgun bullets everywhere.

thank you guys, I found them.

I mainly use the PC356 with 5 upgrade slots. It's a beast weapon with Damage 7, Burst 5, Fire Rate 4, Stopping Power +500%, Long Magazine 5.

That's pretty amazing. Is Inferno very very hard to almost impossible or is it doable? I have loads of respect towards that mode. I am currently on my second playthrough on normal and I am thinking of playing casual next followed by inferno.

I've always thought that there would be nothing wrong with cop/soldier zombies dropping ammo or doctor/nurse zombies dropping herbs, but oh well. It may have encouraged the killing of enemies, which I know was not the point of the original games.

Ha, yeah, that hook makes the Genesis actually seem realistic.

Some may say the absurdity started in Code Veronica, but there it was limited to cutscenes. The real crazy stuff (like Ada's grappling gun) started with 4, I guess.

            • Inferno is probably impossible without upgraded weapons, but I played normal mode a few times and got everything pretty powered up. The P90 with: Damage 7, Fire Rate 5, Long Magazine 5, and Bind 1 is a beast. Thing spits out bullets fast as hell.

Oh and I recommend you guys save a Rocket Launcher for the final boss, it helps a lot and take at least half of his health away. I beat him without dying once, but he is pretty darn tough now.

              • ^ Well, me and a FEW other people managed it just fine - and died a fair bit too hehe

I assure you, it IS impossible the first few chapters with no upgrades and Scagdead is hard even with the Shotgun.
Once you get the MP5 and the Python magnum and upgrade them, it gets hell of a lot easier. If fact - the last levels were easiest

                • I used the semi auto rifle on him with Damage 7 and Fire Rate 3. Kills him within 20 bullets. Honestly even Infernal is kinda easy after I've beaten it a few times. I've got all the ammo pouches and custom parts collected. I have four-five, perhaps less of some, of every Legendary Lart, but have six Damage 7's. Some I'm pretty beast now. I can kill a standard ooze with 7 or so blasts from Parkers Government. I went and played casual and man it's TOO easy. I beat the damn thing in under 4 1/2 hours, and that was even dicking around. Norman only took a few hits from my Colt Python (Damage 7, Rite Rate 3, Reloader 2). So yeah...

                  • I hate games that have no challenge though - TBH I'll probs just replay it with upgrades I have ATM and stay with them .. good enough to make it playable at least, on par with older RE games. Infinite Launcher was fun for like 2 seconds LOL .. not as fun as in the older ones for some reason Hmm..
Now I just need to unlock more outfits to use

                      • Has anyone realized that the music that plays when the ship is starting to sink (after the solis hits the Zenobia) the music sounds alot like Birkin's battle music from RE2? really nice track.

But you don`t get the Illegal Custom parts from Rachel+Scagdead in the Regia Solis cowntdown battle, well, maybe you don`t need them if you already have many top upgrades.

Norman is probably one of the best made final bosses from RE up to day, he deserves all my respects.

                          • I killed rachel with the knife one time.

There's one room you pass through with two empty fish tanks and a chest in front of the other door. She appears in the opposite hallway later on. If you notice, her arm will pop through the wood door quite frequently, so you can pop some shot at her and also get close and knife her arm to death.

                            • Would you guys recommend double dipping on this version of the game? I played the 3DS version to death about a year ago; spent like a hundred hours on it, mostly on Raid Mode. Should I buy now or wait for a price drop?

It is mostly the exact same thing, only you can weigh up what that is worth.
