I would like to shoot Steve in the face in any game. I'd forgotten how annoying he is until replaying CVX again now.

Her relationship with her brother was thinking of him as "lower" and inept. That's about it haha.
DSC Alexia was just boring, annoying and they ruined the back story behind the character. Just like "DMC" and the whole "angel" business.Last edited by Alexia_Ashford; 09-29-2011, 04:52 PM.

He is the only person she's had close to her who she hasn't murdered/infected. Not sure what would make you think that tbh.

But yes I agree with you about BHDC Alexia.PROJECT Umbrella - The BIOHAZARD/RESIDENT EVIL Compendium

CVX all the way, but I don't hate DSC. I love the revamped models and backgrounds, love the epic music, loved the kill house as it added more hilarious Alfred dialogue. Hated what they did to Alexia, though. What a shame. (They cut her hair. What the fuck was up with that?)

Thanks NewsBot, I trust you and your sources. Damn. I just don't see why they would not only show her so affectionately stroking Alfred's hair, which seems like much more than just a mere thank you; but vengefully going after Steve and Claire. She could of just let them go, they were no threat to her, as they were on their way out of the base..
Oh well, I can accept it as canon, because I know you know your shit.. but I still like mine and Alexia_Ashford's version better. Haha, thanks again. ..Last edited by PracticalAl; 09-29-2011, 09:01 PM.

Merged with his DNA. Has his memories and refers to himself like Marcus. A "clone" as you call him. Like some clones have never been referred to by the person they were cloned from before. Put quotes around ""Marcus"" all you'd like; people will still refer to the Final Fantasy reject as Marcus with or without your needless clarification. The characters in Zero never even address the queen leech until the transformation occurs. Till then all they had was "Spencer had me assassinated.... It took the T-virus inside of my Queen years to procreate my new life. I live." Speaking through Marcus.
I never would have thought a subject like this would get to you Mr. Bot.

After releasing the mimicry of young James Marcus, the Queen Leech turned into its original form. This creature is the queen which is the top of all the mutated leeches, ten years after being infected by the t-virus, the transfiguration ability of its body structure has reached an unthinkable level. The intelligence of this creature is very high, and it can use some methods (A kind of olfactory message with micro-chemicals is highly possible) to control the uncountable leeches as its soldiers. The thoughts and memories are from the murdered Dr. James Marcus, it is believed that this is a fusion phenomenon of the t-virus after the Queen Leech got into his corpse. However, rather than considering this as a human based life form, given the leech's DNA, another theory is more reasonable. Over many years, the Queen Leech could acquire the genetic information from the dead, so it turned into an intelligent creature which has the character of James Marcus. Because leeches are hermaphrodite, the name of "Queen" as the ruler of this population is only for convenience. It typically takes the form of a young Dr. Marcus, but breaks this mold to become its first transfigured form. It possesses extremely high intelligence, and it thinks and acts just like Dr. Marcus, who was assassinated 10 years ago. It even has the ability to speak. This surprising phenomenon was made possible by the Queen Leech entering the remains of Dr. Marcus and merging with his DNA over such a long period of time.In response to Mimicry Marcus imitating an older Dr. Marcus, the Queen Leech mimics Dr. Marcus in his twenties.Ten years later, a biologically impossible phenomenon took place in the management training facility. The Queen Leech born from Dr. Marcus' experiments permanently molded itself to DNA taken from his remains, birthing his clone. The copy even reflected Dr. Marcus' will, and his desire for revenge on Spencer. However, the Queen Leech merely copied the mind of Dr. Marcus.PROJECT Umbrella - The BIOHAZARD/RESIDENT EVIL Compendium

As for Alexia, it's very clear from the files that she has no affection for her brother. The scenes where she is holding him do indeed appear to indicate otherwise, but I would chalk this up to the cut-scene directors going against the intention of the scenario writers, since every other piece of material which references her states outright that she is a stone cold bitch who cares for absolutely nobody but herself and views herself as a "queen" with everyone, including her brother, being nothing more than her servants. Outside of those moments, she is straight into bitch mode and doesn't acknowledge Alfred again. BHDC portrays her better in this respect by acknowledging her more openly as a cold-blooded, soul-less monster, but messes up her character in every other way. They did the same with Annette (but that was a complete fuck-up).Last edited by News Bot; 09-29-2011, 10:43 PM.PROJECT Umbrella - The BIOHAZARD/RESIDENT EVIL Compendium
