Best ever is about 1:03-1:09 (I forget exactly) with Chris original PSN version. Didn't prepare too much other than switch it off when I screwed up and a few minutes of mental preparation for best route through the game.. it was good enough for me.. not quite under an hour but meh..

I wish I had the ability to take captures years ago, I finished the RE scenarios in simular time to Leigi above, and for RE2 I did Leon A in 1'18 once. But I don't think I've undertaken a speed run for any of the games since the Rocket Launcher in CV run. That is obviously going to change in coming weeks when I do that again for the HD version.

I don't remember the exact time, but I finished RE4 in about 2'20 ('new game' of course), RE DS with Jill in 39 minutes if I remember correctly and RE2 Leon A in 1'05 (more or less). Other than that all my speedruns aren't really good. It's a shame I can't capture any pics, though.

As all top 20 records in re5(on any mode) - it takes skill, knowledge about tricks and glitches.
I can post much more pics of my re5 records. This world record is currently obsolete.

Re 5 leaderboards are full of people who exploiting some bugs. I was playing for around 2 years with top players (Dark Ayron, Resi Runner Pro - they both hold WR times on campagain speed run with no glitches) and we learnt many tricks and glitches.
We all know that world record(with no glitches,even without fire glitch in 3-2) is around 1h 10 m and its almost perfect.
The leaderboards were looking like this very long time ago.
After all many hackers came with their 0'00'00 times.

But we played hard for our record, really hard - it usually took 3-4 hours to beat some level with perfect time using current strategie.

We tried to contact capcom and tell them about bugs to let them being fixed and leaderboards being cleaned - Capcom don't care unfortunately.

My best speedrun is 2 hours and 10 minutes in RE2.

My best time for CVX was 4h 27m, which isn't good by any means, but all I cared about was getting the infinite rocket launcher (and I barely did!)

Recently I did speed runs of Leon A and Claire B in RE2 (to get the gatling gun) and got around 1h 20m each. It was weird, since I actually had a slightly quicker time on the B game, and Claire's B game is easily the hardest of the four main scenarios. Then again, perhaps not saving in the B game decreased my time a bit. I did use infinite ammo for both, though, since there's no punishment for doing so and I'm a sissy.

I actually have no use for speed runs other than to get the bonus items. I'm more of a "explore every corner" kinda guy.

In NDS version you can skip everything include loading doors so you can finish with around 36-40 minutes - its the best ever

Well I meant my best ever for the PS1 version The best ever for PS1 version is like 57-59 mins or something..

NDS version doesn't really count for "proper" speed runs

RE: DS- 53 minutes XX seconds (guess the door loads really put a lot in it)

RE3 PS1 - 1 hour 30 mins XX seconds

I haven't played RE: DS but can you skip the talking scenes also?

I should really go for under 1 hour on the PS1 version one of these days.. I hear its quite difficult but I think I got enough tricks up my sleeve to pull it off (like the underground crank statue, pushing it out before sliding the rock back in).
