They finally came out and said it. GAIDEN is not canon.
"cvxfreak sent me this, I don't have the book and don't know anything beyond that" would have been the right answer. Posting something completely unrelated to make me look bad wasn't. So, yes, I am now officially "butthurt" and will take the opportunity to not care in the future.
lol, to make you look bad? It was a joke. Grow up.
You really need to go back and play the game. Leon wasn't infected at the end of Gaiden. That wasn't even Leon. It was the BOW. Only the BOW bleeds green. When Lucia was infected with the parasite, she still bled red. That's how they knew the difference between the real Lucia and the BOW.
This.
How many freakin' times will there be a need for that TRUTH to be said?
I think ppl that haven't played Gaiden should just STFU about it. Seriously. Who cares what a magazine or interview said. The game itself makes it pretty clear.
That Leon was not infected by the BOW since the BOW cannot infect shit. Its an amoeba thingy that goes around taking the form of several human beings (without killing them in the process). You're given a direct clue on how to tell the BOW apart from the human being it imitated (green blood).
The part about RE Gaiden not being canon, well I don't think anyone seriously disagrees with that.
Stuff to remember: Avoid forums if you're having a bad day.
