There's no way CAPCOM is remaking RE2, because that is something fans actually want. I'm guessing this is Birkin in one of his many forms, and he will make an appearance in ORC, which is cool nonetheless.

Whatever it is, is for ORC. Don't get your hopes high. RE2 Remake it's not gonna happen. And please, stop asking for a RE2make, without Shinji, it wouldn't work. I don't want RE2 with co-op, OTS cam, and stuff like that. Let the classics be what they are: CLASSICS.

This. The only problem seems to be that "G"s second form had the claw on his right hand, unless this image is mirrored and flipped, which it probably is.

The one you posted is his third. It could be either though, but his second is more "fleshy" if that makes sense. Then again however, it looks to be concept art, so it could be anything.
