Bitchin' about Rachel's hair, the limited melee attacks and Il Velcro (sp?) re-using a corny line from a past RE game. And now being asked to spend 10 bucks more of what you usually pay for an average 3DS game. This for a game that clearly looks to be a lot more than an average 3DS game. All great arguments against buying the game. Notice my sarcasm.
Anywhoo, I already discussed this issue over at the Revelations thread (where it belongs). So... yeah.Last edited by Pikminister; 11-02-2011, 07:20 PM.Stuff to remember: Avoid forums if you're having a bad day.

I know I'm not the only one with these complaints or nit-picks, but if I'm being singled out for them it means I've gotten my word across. Regardless if you agree or not, at least I know people are hearing these out. Makes all the difference.
Users like Pikminister can slam me for not liking Rachel's design or disapproving unnecessary melee in a game that was previously hyped to be a return to form for the series. Meanwhile he can ignore that it stars two of my favorite characters. That I'm happy to hear about the emphasis on puzzles for the game. Or that I'm pleased the main campaign will span over different locations and still be a single player experience. He can blindly forget that I was looking forward to this game more than Mercs 3D when they were both announced for the 3DS and trying to maintain optimism that the game achieves what it set out to do. That we're not just setting ourselves up for another 'Fear you can't forget' scenario.Last edited by Smiley; 11-02-2011, 09:59 PM.

Is the price hike US only? In UK 3DS games are already same price as new Wii games (which is $50 in US right?). The fact you only pay $40 normally is cheap from my perspective and you shouldn't be complaining that one single game costs $10 more when it clearly has a lot more effort and cost gone into it than the shovelware that still asks $40.Beanovsky Durst - "They are not pervs. They are japanese."

I'm not sure if it's US only. But I do feel for those out there in Europe and Australia who get the short end of the stick from not only being over priced nearly all the time but also is most cases getting the game later than the rest of us.
We'll just see how other games fare from this point onward. Capcom and effort have not been boding well for some time so I'd hate to think some people are buying this with the intent that more space automatically equals a more quality product. But for those of you that care and would rather NOT spend the extra dough there are still some places out there maintaining the $40 price tag. I hope it stays that way for them cause I do know that there are some people who'd like to just pay the $40.
If it's a limited time though and you're sure you want the game I'd be going there if I was you.Last edited by Smiley; 11-03-2011, 02:22 AM.

Okay Smiley... you can stop complaining cuz amazon is here to save you those precious $10 dlls you refuse to hand over to Capcom:
http://www.amazon.com/Resident-Evil-...dp/B0050SVLI2/
There. You can buy it new for $40 bucks. Happy now?
But you still don't wanna give Capcom a single dime? then wait a couple of days (or a week) & you'll be able to buy it USED for much less. Unlike with Mercenaries 3D, with Revelations you can delete all your data and start a new file.
See? Problem solved.Stuff to remember: Avoid forums if you're having a bad day.

Oh dude, if you already knew where to get it cheap then why not just make a topic informing potential buyers where to get it for $10 buck less instead of going on and on about these wonky conspiracy theories and whatnot.
Anyway, there is its. Buy it at amazon or buy it used. Or don't buy it at all. Who cares. Its your money (or wifeys)Stuff to remember: Avoid forums if you're having a bad day.
