I couldn't afford to donate for this at the time due to being unemployed.
Same here. I do hope it gets released, for the people into betas and as someone had already said, just to get some attention from the ones having 1.5

I have a good feeling about this! I'm very tight on cash, I'm wondering is this only going to be available to those who donated?

So far, I've donated $5.68 to the drive.

See, to those who are still on the fence about this, each of you, individually, don't have to donate too much for this effort. Just pitch in a fair amount.

If it gets to the final 200 I'll donate something. Not a moment before, i've seen this kinda shit before and given money to not have it returned.

Apparently, joystiq has picked up on this fundraiser and has made an article about it. They've branded the fundraiser as a "ransom" and seem to be convincing people that the drive really isn't as charitable as it seems.
Some twat even posted in the comments section that he has promptly reported the fundraiser to Capcom. Oh, the stupidity of people.

Wow, they've just totally ruined everything. Way to go Joystiq, go pick on a fundraiser for the community and get it reported.
This is why no-one does these kinds of things, shit like this happens and it gets defamed upon and this has honestly just put me in a slightly bad mood.
This is why we can't have nice things, people just want to be complete knobs and its infuriating because of either their ignorance or just their simple act of bitchiness.
No wonder nothing is released to public.

                            I can't believe this...
I just hope CAPCOM don't care about this stuff, leaving that crap user without his attention.

'How dare this person demand to make back some of the several thousand dollars they paid for this? It's a ransom! We deserve it for free!'

Idiots. I don't want this thing, and haven't paid towards it (it's a gameboy version of RE1...so, RE1 looking awful) but this is a dick move all the same.

I hope to high heaven that Joystiq has never asked it's viewers for money, ever, because if they have it's also hypocritical as hell.

I couldn't care less about this but dear god, some people are fucking assholes. I don't think Capcom will care about this, I hope to those who care they don't.
