  • Ada's Report Translation

It's been a long time coming but we're going to be getting a translation of this report finally. In the meantime, I was bored, so here's a quick translation I did myself. http://www.projectumbrella.net/articles/Adas-Report

    REPORT #1
The true objective which must be accomplished. I was attached to this mission as a stepping stone to that. The real intention must not be realized by anyone until after it's finished.
It's no use to merely turn around and hide. It is necessary to appear before them occasionally and give guidance.

First, I want to arrange the stage background.
The Los Illuminados cult led by founder Osmund Saddler have released the seal from the Plaga parasite. That's the information that we the "Organization" have obtained at this present stage, though Saddler's "secret art" must be considered.

The feudal lords of the Salazar family are said to have used a special ability from generation to generation to control the Plaga.
We hypothesized that this may be a special communication method by sound or sound waves. "Orders" are conveyed in a range that only the parasites can detect in order to manipulate them at will. In a nutshell it is the principle of the dog whistle.

This theory was inferred from the flesh of the parasite we originally obtained with an organ which was confirmed to detect sounds.
All the cult's founders carried a cane for special religious services once. This has to be some kind of device, or is it vocalization using a special range?
There is still no evidence for this hypothesis so it does not go beyond the realm of speculation.

Including these verifications, the "acquisition of Plaga samples" is a matter which takes priority overall in this mission. It is also a proof of trust from me to the "Organization".
The pieces are beginning to move and the countdown has begun. There's no turning back now.
    REPORT #2
In this incident with various entaglements, he... Luis Sera is relatively simple. His affiliation with any organization cannot be confirmed, concluding that he is acting on his will as an individual.
It was I who recommended him to the "Organization" as a key person in this mission. This is because I liked his "enthusiasm" which oozes with humanity.

It was fortunate that I was able to intercept his e-mail for help accidentally from a laboratory.
For some reason, he didn't seem to trust the police and the e-mail was sent to a friend from his days as a college student. It seems that he didn't know that his friend was already dead, anyway that's how I was able to plan contact with him.

He seems to have advanced an original investigation about the cult's background between his research of the Plaga. Some of that was also written in the e-mail, his sharp insight pressed for the truth in all aspects. This observational eye was probably the ability Saddler hired him for. However, his ability has gotten too deep into the cult and aroused Saddler's suspicion.

When I told him of my true nature he requested to be taken into protective custody. "I have no love for Plaga or the cult, I just want to escape to a safe place, and return to a quiet life..."
As collateral, I ordered him to steal a "dominant species Plaga sample" for evidence.

It also seems that he is one of the few people to have somehow gained Saddler's trust. I planned contact and expected it would be relatively easy to obtain the sample. But, the cult will not take kindly to his escape. To some extent, I will have to guide things myself.
    REPORT #3

Jack Krauser... the "Organization" performed thorough background checks on this man.
His personality and abilities in carrying out military operations were checked for no problems. If he only possessed halfway skills, he would jeaopradize the rest of us.

In conclusion, he's an excellent mercenary.
As long as sufficient "compensation" is promised, he should serve no more nor less.
I understand his behavior pattern temporarily showed threatening movement to some extent.

Wesker hands down all instructions for this operation directly.
It was also Wesker who ordered Krauser to infiltrate the cult as a spy to obtain the "sample", and also opted for a joint struggle with me. This may have been to monitor each other.

Krauser is already in the cult and has probably fallen to the charm of the Plaga and its symbol of "power".
As a result, I also predict that this may soon hurt our "Organization".
But in a sense, this may be a necessary development. I am using him to play the primary role of "disrupting the stage."

Because the stage itself is destined to be destroyed and erased sometime soon...
But unlucky for him, that must be hidden from him in order to achieve the objective, and keep things going as they are.
    REPORT #4

Leon S. Kennedy. His presence is an essential part to accomplish this mission.
This story wouldn't be complete without his overwhelming survival skills, which he has in abundance.
In the past, he has accomplished the difficult problem of continuously surviving with his own strength in a Hell where inhuman monsters writhed.
In addition, he has been well trained since the time he was a new rookie police officer.

He has an extraordinary sense of luck, and sense which he employs to utmost judgement. I think that's a natural talent. His experience as an agent under the direct control of the government has also made him more formidable.
Although it is necessary to have him pull the other side of the story as the "protagonist", I am optimistic that it won't be very difficult.

Of course, I must consider the event of an unexpected situation to some extent since Saddler and Krauser are involved.
However, I put my heart and soul into him as a "support role" for my own objective. I intend to assist him to make sure he doesn't descend from the leading role.

Still, until just several months ago... I was unable to imagine this "cast".
My role should been a little simpler too.
The kidnapping of the President's daughter, the dispatch of a lone agent to investigate exclusively.
The story's framework was revised when Leon's intervention became clear, leading to its present form.

But I do not bear unecessary fears. That's because the road which Leon passes may be difficult but will not lead to failure.
He's fought against many unreasonable fates. His good luck enourages me.
Only I have a clear vision of his future.
There is no shaking my confidence.
    REPORT #5

I was able to somehow patch up the small rip.
I think that the mission can be called a success. I was able to safely achieve the original objective of acquiring the sample.
I sent Wesker a different present. As per the order of the "Organization". The false conspiracy with him was also rather thrilling.

Albert Wesker... he will try to move somewhere.
Through this mission, I feel like I have only just touched one end.
To him Umbrella was a symbol of power at one time, which could be used to support and realize one's ambition.
However, the "umbrella" was torn and the fantasy was shattered.

The Masters of the dark plot who lost their protection have scattered, and are struggling in their quest for a new "umbrella".
They hate the light of day. Because it makes them aware of their own ugliness.
Wesker intends to raise his new larger and stronger "umbrella."

The giant pharmaceutical company "S" provides medicine to public medical institutions all over the world. Evidence has confirmed that Wesker came in contact with them after Umbrella's collapse. His next "starting point" will probably be there. The "Organization" must observe carefully.

However, Wesker's not stupid. He knows exactly what me and the "Organization" are thinking. Although we're swimming against each other, we are meant to swim together. At the moment there is still some pleasant leeway.
I safely took one step forward to my true objective. There is one thing I can say with certainty...
The battle is not over yet.

Why did you capitalize "Organization"? I thought that was a big no-no.

It was a big no-no when it appeared that it was actually called "The Third Organization", but they are separate entities entirely, it seems. It's really "「組織」". They're very specific.

      Still massively annoying though.

So, wait, Ada and Krauser were both working for this "Organization"? Or was Ada's organization just aware of Krauser's association with Wesker and so they kept tabs on him? Or is Ada referring to the "Third Organization"? I'm really confused now.

I keep things literal for the most part. I could not think of a decent way to rephrase that.
