Translated the "Report about Ada." This was written by Benny Matsuyama for the biohazard 4 Kaitai Shinsho guidebook. Generally, until BH6 I wouldn't have given it much thought behind a "maybe" backstory, but it seems that it is 100% true considering CAPCOM have directly used information from it in BH6 material.

I apologize if it sounds "off" or a little goofy at parts. It was easily the most difficult translation I've ever done due to Matsuyama's informal language. We previously had a professional translator, a native speaker at that, translate it, but even they found it quite difficult.

No accurate information has been disclosed about her. Nothing is known about when and where she was born, her nationality, race or exact age, or even the name given to her at birth.
Only the woman who calls herself Ada Wong knows the truth about herself.

Her outstanding beauty and smooth pearl-like skin harkens to her Asian origins. The complex curves of her alluring body seem perfect and without waste, without losing any of her feminine appeal, and with perfect proportions. The beautiful leopardess ran at full speed inside the framework and defeated the crowding Ganado in defiance of the detonator that had already begun to operate. Saddler's measures demonstrated his abnormal vitality------- In other words, a rocket launcher equipped with a special warhead she held in her hands was used as the way Leon survived.

ECHELON (Trapezoid in French) decoded sentences of a highly encrypted email found of an unknown sender. It was discovered as a result of the National Security Agency (NSA) searching on "Alexia." It was sent in the midst of the Rockfort Island incident, and its relevance with the disaster is believed to be high.

The latter adds in new plot details and fills in the strange blanks that were left in the original by Hiroki Kato.

Always wanted to have a look at this bit of CODE:Veronica dialogue. It's not that different in Japanese, same thing really, however, there is no definite on the "new organization" line. In the localization, it implies that Wesker wasn't able to join the rival company and went to some other organization, but as Japanese usually doesn't define singular or plural (which hangs on the simple thread of "a" or "the") it pretty much depends on context. In this case, since there has never been any reference to any other organization aside from the rival company, "the" is most appropriate. Technically you could also use "my."

CHRIS: "Wesker!? ...You're alive!? Why are you here!?"

WESKER: "Alexia is my objective. I was hired to capture her."
