Who else thinks that RE5's Lost in nighmares should've BEEN RE5?

Takeuchi has confirmed in an interview that the first version of RE5 had zombies before they scrapped it. There are pictures in this link here showing the zombie models and concepts. That trailer was released in 2005, therefore it's safe to say that was the first build/version of RE5. How exactly is it that I'm seeing what I want to see?

Yeah I have the artbook, but since a crapload of it never appeared in any trailer, original trailer included I do not see your point, those were majini in the trailer. Zombie idea was probably scrapped pre-trailer with RE4s popularity.

RE5 should never of happened in general. Horrible excuse for RE. RE4 was a good game, but not an RE game. But RE5, No just no. Never again.

The mysterious enemies from the 2005 trailer, that were confirmed in the book “the Art of Resident evil 5″ to be a quick type of T-Virus zombies. They were changed to Majini because the developers believed group attacks and organized assaults would not have been possible with such absent-minded felons.

What a cheap reason .... i would have loved to see , majinis , zombies , lickers , uroboros , other mutants and tyrants all in one game ....
