Seriously though, I hope the bulk of the game isn't going to be OMG PRESS X. I just hope we're able to freely explore for much of the game too.
This is my biggest fear. The brief amount of gameplay we've seen so far looks to be even more linear than RE5. The story is looking interesting, but I want to see fun gameplay. Based on what we've seen, this game will be fun to play through once and have zero replay value. Not my style.
Why is everyone complaining about how Ada looks? Sure, she looks a little less Asian, but I think she looks great.
Sherry is left handed. Awesomeness increased by 100
I believe one of the developers stated that the all characters can be switched to either side of the screen in the options menu. I seriously hope so, because Sheva being on the right side in RE5 made her unplayable to me. It's completely unnatural, in my opinion, for a right-handed gamer.
Edit: Seems to be true...
Based on those screens, it looks like we also have a different HUD for each group of characters (or perhaps a way to use whichever HUD you please in the options menu?)
The gameplay focuses more on being an action game and less of trying to be an exploration, slow methodical type of game. Don't really like how it's turning out.
Another thing, the graphics look unpolished. I notice a lot of clunky movement & animations. The game is just a few months away from being released. Hope they fix that.
I'm with you on the camera issue but I got used to Sheva on the right so much so I was useless with Chris on the Left after playing again recently but Rockstar let you switch sides for the camera in Red Dead Redemption and some other games did too I recall vaguely . . .
Well, from the image I cant really tell but maybe Carla was a normal person and the coccoon thing works as perfect, full-body plastic surgery. It would explain why she knows her stuff. A "Baroness" in love with her Boss perhaps?

Screens of characters wandering aimlessly through messy offices and creepy alleys may scratch the itch for hardcore fans, but it's not exactly attention-grabbing from a promo point of view. I still have hope. But we'll know a lot more before the week is out.

We already know from the Captivate demo previews that we will have those moments.
