Leon's campaign is "scarier" than BH4 and BH5 combined, that much is obvious from what little we've already seen. The entire game has a much darker atmosphere. Not that big on the cinematic, over-the-top stuff, but despite seeming out of place it's all done really well. Just seems like Sequel Syndrome where everything has to be bigger, badder and ballsier, which is precisely what the series has done with each new title. Don't get why people are suddenly so shocked now, apart from the fact that some people aren't happy without something to bitch about.

Well pleased to hear the reports on the controls being good and the gameplay being fun, fucking hated everything else I heard. Primarily because it was from a snide IGN dipshit who was bashing the series as a whole, rather than sticking to the facts from the demo.

Even BH5 had one great horror segment (Umbrella Africa Laboratory), which ironically had an extremely over-the-top "the fuck is this?" behind that area.

The village sections of BH4 were quite alright in terms of horror. But that's where it ended, until the Regeneradors.

BH6 already has more than both of them combined. Superior atmosphere, superior enemies, much more tense and so on. I haven't been scared by a BIO game since I was about 10. I don't see how any adult can be scared by any of the other games either outside of jump scares, which most people bitch about as being "cheap". There are a lot of things I would change or do differently, but so far I am more excited for BH6 than I have been for any other game in the series post-2003.

Best I could tell via photos on the website, it's a small light tucked behind his left ear. Could be an earpiece, but there is light coming out of it so who knows. XD

Just saw Leon's demo on CU stream. Absolutelly stunning! It almost felt like REmake for a second.

The Live Stream was great, very old school feeling to it and those controls I know right now I am going to have so much fun using those dives, shuffles and rolls, it's basically what we have seen these characters in games like RE4, Gears of war and others do for years expect now we can actually do those moves whenever we want during the game, now THAT is how you evolve third person mechanics.

Btw, the whole Chris drunk concept is somewhat cool, shows how depressed he got over the past years/events/deaths of partners. Looking forward to his story the most.
