The "new Chris" concept is great. He has been a fairly dull and by-the-books character since his appearance. A typical hero who doesn't seem to suffer from the events surrounding him. If his dialogue in the previous trailers (in the script, but not translated into the game for some fucktard reason) is to be believed, then he has a life-threatening injury that will eventually kill him. That alone is reason enough for him to be in such a state. Add to it the fact that he was forced to watch his team die, yet again. It's great character development for a character who has never really had much.

Per the G4 stream, it sounds like Claire's showing up after all. Color me relieved.

Not sure what you're referring to, as there was nothing in the demo to suggest Claire would be in this game. If you're referring to Kevin Pereira's (sp?) comment about "EVERYONE IS IN THIS GAME!!!", he wasn't being literal.

Anyway, I noticed something during the G4 demo that I didn't see in any of the other presentations. If you shoot a zombie in the body enough times, flesh and muscle actually tear off where the bullets make contact.

Btw, the whole Chris drunk concept is somewhat cool, shows how depressed he got over the past years/events/deaths of partners. Looking forward to his story the most.

So far, the Leon demo looks awesome. It definitely has atmosphere RE5 lacked. Hell, if RE4 would have had that dark of an atmosphere, it would have been even more epic.

The stage demo had no waypoint anyway so it was kinda obvious already (imo at least). I don't mind as long as these are all options.
