It's sad though. He saves the world multiple times, and the bartender can't let him have one for the road?

Definitely. That guard was going to get his skull opened up had Piers not stepped in. Chris has good taste in clothes though, that sweater looked great.

Because GT apparently thinks it was cool to overlay music onto the video. The opening seems like it possibly has conversations which can be marked as spoilers so perhaps thats why, but it doesn't explain the music over the gameplay portion too. Maybe they just got lazy.

Unfortunately, nothing as of yet. Hope they didn't take them out for the sake of becoming more mainstream with the rest of the action games not having files. And no problem.

In the case of Redfield's section the scenario looks enriched with color and detail over the environments. What I like about the Chris section is that this is a hardened Chris on the edge. He saved Claire and Jill, but here he's lost the team that trusted him under his command. He killed Wesker, but the battle is far from over. He's out for blood.

Agreed with everything. The whole environments were beautiful, enriched with colorful lights. Overall graphics were glossy and better than what we've seen so far (Chris' China segment had the best graphics in the debut trailer as well). Definitely looking forward to his story the most.

To me, yeah, bland and boring. Super Mario has colorful environments, too, you know, but that's not what I want in RE. This looks more like COD or Splinter Cell or something; there's simply nothing memorable. The mansion in the original game, the RPD in RE2, parts of Rockfort, RE4's village, etc. - those were memorable, not just a bunch of boring urban rooftops. I'm not impressed.

But I agree with you about Chris's character. He's much more interesting this time around, which is great for a character who has always been about as exciting to watch as paint drying.
      Mass production? Ridiculous!

Only the first cutscene is new, the rest of the gameplay is already seen. Loving this (better?) version of Nemesis so far.

It has the whole cut-scene with Ustanak murdering the J'avos? If so, then disregard my link.

Lianshang will be the greatest of them all. Do you know why? Chaos. You think so small with mansions, police stations, islands and villages. No, China will be more chaotic because of all the attention to detail. The colors are not that of "Mario". They fit the environments nicely. To top it off the level design looks to have a wide range of exploration for being one of three key locations. And given that it'll be the game's climax you can see everything will go all out in this action thrill ride.

                        • Ummm...that bar scene with Chris gave me chills. I can't remember anything even remotely close to that kind of emotion/character development in this series.

And I don't even know what they were saying!

                          • It was an awesome scene indeed! I liked the music at the beginning (until that was the ONLY thing) and all, but I can't wait to hear what the actual dialogue is. I'm really starting to wonder whether or not Chris will make it through this game.

That's the beauty of it. You didn't need to know what they were saying to still feel something for the scene. The animations and facial expressions already convey a lot. The vocal performances included will be the icing on the cake.
