Wow, Chris getting drunk at a bar. I loved that sequence, the music made it even more awesome. I like the contrast. Piers is sitting there, happily munching away at a delicious steak, then we cut to Chris and he's slouched over the bar, drinking scotch and smoking cigarettes.

Smoking the cigs is a nice little nod to the original RE too!

Seriously what the hell happen to Chris? He never did this when he thought Jill was dead. I can't believe it's just the killing of his squad.

Jill wasn't under is command, they were partners. She also made the choice to sacrifice herself to save him, he never truely believed her dead so he had something to keep him going, the search for her. The men that die were under his command though, he was responsible for them and they all died for sure. Is quite different.


PLus they died at christmas, he probably couldn't get a refund on the presents.

This was the Chris that should have made it in Marvel vs. Capcom 3. That bottle attack would have been hilarious.

He followed up on some intel which is why he took a particular interest in the Kijuju incident. It wasn't until he saw Jill's picture in the data file that he had a strong feeling she was alive. But considering that there's a gap between Lost in Nightmares and RE5 where we never really got to see how Chris handled Jill's death.

That Chris opening... Oh man, that was good. The music just made it 10x more epic. Didn't even have to hear what they were saying to make me almost squeal with delight. Definitely an amazing way to introduce him. Also, that other video, with Jake and Sherry encountering the Ustanak. Man, I think they definitely captured the feel of a new "Nemesis". That scene where he grabs the J'avo, lifts it above his head, and just crushes the thing as blood pores down from above. Man, intimidating as fuck.

The more I see of this game, the more its continuing to impress me. That video they showed at the Microsoft Press Conference had me doubting this game honestly. I can happily say however, that with all these other new gameplay videos, this game is shaping up to be pretty amazing. Hopefully it stays that way.

Has anyone seen anything involving in-game files or items that are able to be examined? Just wondering, since these have been staples of the RE series for quite some time now.

I think I saw at least one file so far in Leon's gameplay demo, it was illuminated, but it could have just been his light.

Chris's section looks great. I love how people are still looking for any little excuse they can to hate it. The improved recoil on weapons adds a bit more tensity to the gameplay.
