  • Just to confirm:

To clarify, you have the option to turn off the destination marker and switch to turn on or off the crosshair, red pointer, and red laser on and off from the options menu. From all I've heard and seen, it seems you can turn them all on if you want, or turn them all off you want, or any combination that you prefer.

    • I figured you could turn off the Destination Marker, but it's nice to have confirmation. I want to explore without having a damn open door icon on the screen screaming "OVER HERE, DUMBASS!"

From what they've shown it seems there's some decent options for exploration in Leon's and Jake's campaigns, at least.

        • So cross hairs can be turned off?

          I approve.

Knife is still there. I believe you have to select it now, similar to Revelations.

              • It'll be less of a necessity with the melee abilities improved to the point where you can use them to kick open crates for items.

                  • The Captivate trailer was way better though. Easily one of the greatest trailers of any RE game to date.

I concurr. I'd say it's even the best RE trailer I've seen. Even better than the TGS trailer for RE5.

                      • I agree. I just hope that they don't spoil the game as bad as 5. They are pretty good at putting these trailers together though!

WTF? No way. The reveal trailer and the E3 trailer are way better than the Captivate trailer, which didn't even have a lick of gameplay.

                          • All three trailers did a very good job of building excitement and engagement, but I think the Captivate trailer had me bouncing off the walls the most.

                            • At least the trailers didn't reveal all of the plot so far.

                              • Yup, they revealed just enough to confuse the bejeezus out of all of us.
