That's kind of the point of Jake - he's a jerk who only cares about money. I hope he doesn't turn out to be evil per se, but I don't want to see him be 100% good either. The series has enough big damn heroes. It would be nice to have a protagonist who's in it for something other than saving the world.

Jake reminds me of someone who would star in a Fast and Furious film, or a Need For Speed game. The name bugs me to everyone is going by the name Jake now, its a crap puffy name. What happened to manly namers like Barry and Fred. His first game in and he is pushing around the likes of Leon and giving shitty comments to Chris. I hope Piers drop kicks his ass off a building.

Lol sorry I didnt quite understand what that first sentence meant. Just saying though Every character in the game is better than him so far and I have a feeling he will be getting the main attention come the ending. I just hope its for the wrong reasons, a man with Wesker blood HAS to be an asshole. If he turns out to be Mother Teresa he is a shame to the Wesker name and Albert will be turning in his lava pit.

I was referring to this:

Capcom has heavily hinted at several of the new characters taking over as the main protagonists in future games. Piers is obviously going to be the straight-laced space cadet, and we can't have two of those running around. I'd say odds on Jake remaining morally ambiguous are pretty high.
