So wheres this big scoop Famitsu was supposed to reveal today?

Capcom has a big Resident Evil 6 announcement to make on July 5th, according to the latest issue of Famitsu. No other information was given but it could end up being a reveal of the game’s highly speculated fourth scenario.

According to this it's not necessary in the Famitsu. Capcom will probably announce something online. Most probably via Capcom Unity.

So Ada has a complete scenario? I find that kind of hard to believe, although it would be awesome if true. I just hope they don't over do them selves so they can pack as much unique content into each scenario as they possibly can. We already know the games central plot revolves around China, so I'd hate it if they only had one small section of the game unique to each character and the rest of the game is virtually the same. I have to admit the demo has left me super hype for this game, which is surprising considering my hatred for RE5, so this can go either way for me. I just hope the game isn't too over saturated (pun not intended!) with characters and each scenario is unique enough do that they're not near enough clones of each other like the classic games. That beig said I'm super excited, so roll on October!

Were they? The only one I saw was the one where the Ustanak grabs Jake and crushes him during the sequence where you have to run. It'd be awesome if someone made a video of these like 4 and 5.

Thank you! Damn, that death at around 6:45 was gruesome. Ripping pieces of flesh out of Helena. Well glad to see its not as censored as I thought it'd be. Also that other death with the zombie smashing her head in with a pipe, not sure if I found that amusing or just outright disturbing.

Nice! I just watched that Helena death video and noticed when your in red and nearly dead the classic heart monitor appears, the life bar with that same heart monitor graphic for green, yellow and so on would have been really cool.

The pipe smashing Helena's skull in is actually really really brutal, even more so because you can't properly see it.

Overall I liked the demo. Surely this is just another step towards making the series more action oriented but at this point it is useless to complain, the best way to accept and enjoy it for what it is.

Or in other words, just grab your ankles and take it. No thanks. The regenerating health feature that's ripped off from CoD (to cater to that fan base - thanks Kawata, for the heads up), did it for me.

And no amount of fan service (look at that ASS) or plot devices or anything pertaining to the action antics that almost everyone here is bustin' a nut over, can make up for the fact that with this one, survival horror is now officially dead in the main series. And people overlook this like it's nothing. Because look at how cool Leon looks... and how about that Sherry?

It's the sign of the times when the discussion about RE is more about the characters and how cool the look than anything relating to the gameplay. So it has come to this and well... it's time to move on. Even Dead Space is becoming more like this. Silent Hill is almost gone too. I need to become more of a PC gamer just to see if there are options there. Cuz consoles are done with survival-horror it seems.

The regenerating health system is not ripped off from CoD at all. Did you actually play the demo ?
