  • Let me copy my post from Reply on Horror about the cry babies about the regeneration health:

Sweet lord you people are complaining about regenerating a small block of health that is easily depleted if you actually look at footage of the game. Enemies will f***k you up in no time if you do not watch yourself I have seen it in almost every demo playthrough I have watched. Could be worse, could be universal ammo pickups like DS3 now THAT is really screwing with a good formula. I also love how people do not even notice that ammo in RE6 is not exactly plentiful.

Nope ignore the positives for the negatives, always been the way with you "fans".

And yes, I'm aware that I'm becoming this guy:

But, I know the times are a changin' so... enjoy RE6 for WHAT IT IS.
Lol I'm that guy too, been a fan since RE2. Only, I'm that cool old guy who can take changes as a positive thing. So using a term like "grab your ankles and take it" as if you are actually being violated in some way over Resident evil is kind of silly. :S

      • RE6 is already better than RE5 if only for variety in the death scenes instead of just falling over and screaming.

        • smashing face is the most disturbind death in entertainment industry.

watch platoon and 28 weeks later, you will be terrified!

the zombie eating her guts needs to be finished with more details(not just red tint), they really could do something like day of the dead. finaly they put some zombies really ripping human's flesh.

          • Ammo is plentiful. Anyone you see getting "fucked up" is terrible at the game and probably the reason its looking as "meh" as it is. Even if this is easy difficulty (more like casual), there's no excuse for it to be so easy that zombies can barely manage a hit and J'avo stand perfectly still without even firing a gun. The game clearly has mechanical and graphical issues, not to mention the absolute lack of horror.

But hey, I guess expecting something vaguely resembling what the series was known for is too much to ask. Gotta make way for stealth bombers in volcanoes, exploding explosions, kung-fu fighting, and DAT ASS.

            • I'm finding the camera more bearable the more I play. However, that doesn't mean I think it should stay the way it is. In fact, there is one segment in Leon's scenario, when he's on the balcony overlooking the hall, that has an utterly PERFECT camera distance. If only this was permanent, I would have absolutely no complaints about the game thus far, except maybe the tearing which will likely be sorted by the final game anyway.

              • Ammo was plentiful when people knew how to play the old games, I seen players even as Chris run out of machine gun ammo on more then one occasion and needing to resort to the pistol.

When you know how to play the games, even the old titles had you carrying more then enough ammo.

Exactly. If you know how to properly play then even the old games gave you more than enough ammo... especially after the first one.

                  • Then they suck. I'm not trying to sound like a dick, but they really do. It is nearly impossible to run out of ammo in Chris's scenario, and Jake's as well (I had over 100 handgun bullets basically just sitting there doing nothing). Leon's you definitely can, but you only start off with a single clip anyway (though another can be found, coincidentally, beside the alarmed car). Even then, the SUPER ULTRA MELEE ATTACK means you can avoid firing a gun nearly altogether. Seriously, I'd wager you can through both Leon's and Chris's scenarios in this demo using nothing but melee. Jake's would be a little more difficult due to ustanak, but probably still doable.

There's a fine line between "easy" and "overpowered".

                    • Then we just have to hope that those demos were on a easy difficulty, as for ammo in those demos? we cannot judge on ammo at all on Chris and Jakes scenarios until the final product.

                        • Compare the RE5 demo to final product, you get a great idea about the huge difference between enemy damage, health and supplies dropped.

Yeah me too, to be honest the camera doesn't really bother me anymore, at first it was a bit weird but I'm pretty much used to it now. I still think movement is a bit stiff though, sometimes it's hard to navigate small spaces purely because the turning circle is so wide, and the sprinting is even stiffer, why walking up stairs is faster than sprinting up stairs is beyond me.

I tried just swinging my way through Chris' scenario, at one point I got knocked out and lost 85% of my health from one punch.

                            • I recall the RE5 demo being pretty reflective of the final product (as was RE4's outside of the wholly different inventory system). Demos in general, despite whatever "build" they might be, are always fairly close to the real thing. Take Mass Effect 3's demo, for instance - every single problem it had ended up in the final game. Or Silent Hill Downpour's framerate problems and minor bugs - also in the final product. Contrary to popular belief, a demo and the final product are not usually of different strokes.

EDIT: Geluda, I've done basically the same thing; never even fell into the red. Could just be a case of inconsistent AI, but that's a whole other can of worms.

On easy perhaps, fine if want to ignore the final products other difficulties with more aggressive enemies, higher health enemies and significantly less ammo/health items. You think RE6 will not have harder difficulties also?

Playing a game on easy and complaining of the lack of challenge is silly.
